"Mark! Roger! Anyone! Help!" Maureen shouts.
"Maureen?" Mark, Roger and Collins appear at the balcony.
"It's (Y/N) - I can't get her up the stairs!"
Mark and Collins immediately run back into the apartment. Roger stays there, staring down at you, unable to look away. Collins and Mark run down and Collins takes you from Joanne and carries you up the stairs to the apartment.

"She was huddled in the park in the dark and she was freezing. She begged to come here," Maureen explains.
"Over here. Oh, god," Roger says. Collins carefully lays you down on the table.
"Got a light - I know you - you're shivering," you whisper deliriously.
"She's been living on the street," Joanne says.
"We need some heat," Roger says.
"I'm shivering," you say quietly.
"We can buy wood and something to eat," Mark says.
"I'm afraid she needs more than heat," Collins says.
"I heard that," you say.
"Collins will call for a doctor, honey," Maureen says softly.
"Don't waste your money on me," you say.
"Hello, 911? I'm on hold,"' Collins says.
Cold... cold... would you light my candle?" you mutter.
"Yes, we'll - oh god, find a candle," Roger says.
"I should tell you," you look up at Roger.
"I should tell you," he looks at you, pain in his eyes.
"I should tell you, Benny wasn't any-"
"Shh, I know. I should tell you why I left. It wasn't cause I didn't-"
"I know. I should tell you, I love you," you whisper. You feel yourself fade a little.
"Who do you think you are? Leaving me alone with my guitar," Roger says softly, "hold on, there's something you should hear. It isn't much, but it took all year."
Roger gently lays your head on the table and grabs his guitar. He sits next to you.

"Your eyes
As we said our goodbyes
Can't get them out of my mind
And I find I can't hide
From your eyes
The ones that took me by surprise
The night you came into my life
Where there's moonlight I see your eyes

How'd I let you slip away
When I'm longing so to hold you
Now I'd die for one more day
'Cause there's something I should have told you
Yes there's something I should have told you
When I looked into your eyes
Why does distance make us wise?
You were the song all along
And before this song dies
I should tell you I should tell you
I have always loved you
You can see it in my eyes."

As the song ends, the world fades...

You're walking down a tunnel, heading towards a warm light, when you see Angel.
"Turn around, girlfriend, and listen to that boy's song," she says. The tunnel fades, along with the light and Angel.

You wake up with a start.
"I jumped over the moon!" you say.
"What?" Roger says.
"She's back," Joanne says.
"I was in a tunnel. Heading for this warm white light," you explain.
"Oh my god," Maureen says quietly.
"And I swear, Angel was there. And she looked good. And she said, "Turn around girlfriend, and listen to that boy's song"," you say.
"She's drenched," Collins says.
"Her fever's breaking," Maureen feels your forehead.
"There is no future, there is no past," Mark says.
"Thank god this moment's not the last," Roger says. You embrace him, still feeling weak, but safe from the world in his arms.
