Best Friends Brother

Chapter 8

Clarke
Ir was about 1:30am. Both Raven and Octavia were asleep and I was scrolling through Instagram. I was watching funny videos on the explorer page when I came across a picture of Bellamy and some girl kissing. (Picture above that Clarke saw) I clicked on the profile that posted it and it was some Gina girl. From what I could tell from her profile her and Bellamy were dating, or dated recently. I was pissed. Not that he was dating someone else but that he kissed me while he was in a relationship. I turned my phone off and went to sleep.

I woke up to the smell of bacon. I got up and went downstairs to find Octavia and Raven, cooking bacon.

"Morning Clarke. We made breakfast and there's Orange juice on the table." Octavia tells me

"Your brothers not eating with us is he?" I ask

"No. He's out with someone. Idk who, he left before I woke up." Octavia says

When Octavia says he went out with someone I feel a pit in my stomach. Did he go out with that Gina girl, and if he did why do I care. Have I started to gain feelings for him? No I can't, he's Octavia's brother.

We decided to spend the day at the mall, shopping and having a girls day. We all went  upstairs and got ready. After an hour and a half we were all ready. We put the breakfast stuff away and left the dishes for Bellamy to do.

We went to leave just as the door opened. In came Bellamy and the girl from the picture, holding hands and smiling. My stomach turned at the sight. Octavia and Raven rushe to the car to turn the air on. Me and Bellamy locked eyes as I walked passed him and to the car. How could he kiss me when he was dating someone else. I was hurt.

Bellamy
Gina was an ex-girlfriend. We ended on good terms and still talked occasionally. She moved away and is back in town visiting family. We aren't dating again but I can tell she wants to. I don't want to get back into a relationship with her because I don't feel the same way towards her as I used to. She decided to come over and hang out, as friends. When we got to my house she grabbed my hand.

"What are you doing?" I asked

"We're friends and I'm playing around." She laughs

I laugh too and we go into the house. As we enter Octavia, Raven and Clarke are leaving. I see Clarke's eyes glance down to mine and Gina's hands and I could see the hurt in her eyes. I tried to pull my hand out of her hand but she tightened her grip. The three girls left and I felt bad.

"Gina, why did you post that picture of us kissing from last year?" I ask as we're sitting in my room

"It was throw back Thursday. I miss us Bellamy ."

"Gina I don't feel that way towards you."

She gets upset and storms out of my room. I sigh and fall back on my bed. I'm glad she knows the truth finally. Now I just need to explain everything to Clarke. I don't know why I'm so worried about keeping Clarke happy but I am.

Clarke

We decided to get ice cream at Baskin Robbins before going to the mall. After ice cream we went to the mall. We went to hot topic first. We each got a matching necklace and I got a few rings. Octavia got a chocker and raven got a nightmare before Christmas shirt.

We've been shopping for 3 hours now and we're finally having lunch. We decided to be done shopping and go eat at Panera bread. We all got salads and lemonade.

"So Clarke... why did my brother buy you Starbucks?"

"He drove me to the hospital. I asked if we could stop and I offered to buy it but he insisted on buying."

"He seems different with you than he ever had been with me." Raven states

I thought she hated him. That's what he told me, but then again Bellamy has been a dick lately. I just shrug and act like I don't know that.

We finally got home at about 8:00pm. Traffic on the freeway was terrible. I decided to stay at Octavia's house again but Raven has to go home for the night. She said she'd be back in the morning. Octavia took a shower and passed out within a half hour of being home. I was pretty tired so I decided to go to sleep too. Octavia's slept in her bed and I slept on her huge bean bag.

I'm going camping for my birthday tomorrow so I won't be posting regularly quite yet.
