DADDY ISSUES

Yesterday when I got home from school he wasn't home so did my mom. I find a note she left saying she won't come home and she left some money so I can have something to eat. Now I'm making myself a sandwich and I'm going to sit on the couch watch some movie and relax.
Some minutes of relaxing and I suddenly hear laughs and voices. Oh yeah, I forgot that they are here now. They getting down the stairs.

" Klaus no, no "

I hear my mom saying playfully and my eyes open widely.

" Melanie you are here? "

She pays attention to me.

" Yep "

I leave the plate on the table and stand up. I turn to look at them and they are a bit apart. I go to the door and of course, take my keys.

" Where are you going? "

I turn my head to them. I can see him behind her, he is looking at me and smiles.

"I will go for a walk and leave you two alone "

I open the door and go out. I let a big breath. I will go for a walk because I'm so stupid that I didn't take money or my phone. At least I have keys so I can get back home. I start to walk and walk. I was looking around me the houses, the people. It's still new to me here but it's calm and lovely. I calm and it was starting to getting dark. So I will go back.

 It's not that he is bad, I don't even know him and my mom is so calm and okay lately but in the morning he just makes me angry. But I have to stay calm. I open the door and I see him sitting on the couch. Alone. My mom. Where is my mom? I close the door and he turns and looks at me.

" Hello, Melanie "

" Hi "

I say shyly and I look down.

" Mom? "

" She went to the market and she will be back soon "

Well, thats a surprise as mom has never gone to a grocery shop. She is playing nice, loving, caring mother but she doesnt really fool me.

" Okay "

I walk awkwardly to the stairs. When.

" I didn't like that you left earlier "

I look at him. What?

" Huh? "

" Come on sit here "

He says and he saw me a place beside him. I think about it before I go. But I go anyways. I sit there and of course, I let space between us. And he is not wearing a shirt, God. His body is so hot. I bite my lip. Shut up. This is wrong. 

" I don't want you to feel uncomfortable in your own home "

He says and looking at me right in my eyes. Maybe if you weren't there i will be comfortable. I kick this though out. He is nice to me. I feel so ashamed.

" It's okay don't worry and sorry for the morning, it was so rude of me "

" It's okay "

We stay a little in silence. He is so sweet and kind. And I have to stop right now because he is my mothers...I didn't finish my thought because he cut me off by saying. 

" You are my daughter now? Practically"

He says and i look at him. I laugh awkwardly. 

" Yes maybe "

This makes me feel awkward and I don't know weird. 

" I, I will go upstairs now "

I sat and he just looks at me and smile. I have to calm down. I get to my room. I change my clothes and lay in bed. I have to stop thinking about this things are bad. And yeah it's bad. He is my mother's boyfriend.
