DADDY ISSUES

We arrive in the afternoon. The air hostess waked me up. I still was listening to the playlist he put on my phone. We land and my head felt heavy, I had dizziness and I was sleepy. We take our luggage and outside it wait for us a black SUV. Mark drive us and I was on the passenger seat. The others on the back.  The drive to our hotel was an hour or so. I fell asleep. And mom waked me up. She screamed my name with a really high voice, that hurt my ears. I stand and got out of the car. I just didn't remember anything, I just fell asleep. I was tired. 

I wake up the next morning with a heavy head and my eyes hurt when I open them. It is so bright. After some minutes when I felt more awake, I look around me. I am laying in a white bed. I stand my torso from the bed. On my right, I have a big, wooden closet. In front of me a big smart TV. Besides it a mirror with a desk and a chair. And a huge window that is open and a light breeze moves the curtains. 

I throw the covers off of me and stand of the bed. I see that I am wearing the same clothes but my hair is down. I walk out the window. The breeze feels so good on my skin. I step barefoot on the wooden balcony. The view was breathtaking. The blue ocean and the golden sand. Trees green and tall. It makes me smile. I close my eyes and hear the waves. It is so relaxing and feels better. 

I open my eyes and look around me confused. Wait a minute. I'm not in a hotel. I'm in a house. I look the outside and down there was a huge pool with a bar and sunbeds and two umbrellas. I walk inside to get out of my room. I am in a big hallway. I walk out of it. There were a huge living room and a kitchen and beside me stairs. Huge windows again. I am in a villa. I thought we gonna stay in a hotel. 

All this time that I am awake, I see or hear no one. They may be sleeping. I walk back to my room. I'm gonna take a shower first and then im gonna chance to clean clothes. But wheres the bathroom? I saw some doors in the hallway. I go and open one, two doors and I find it. It isn't far from my room. I walk inside, it was so clean and big. Bigger than the one back home. It has a bath and shower. The mirror is huge. Two sinks.

I close the door and check first the water temperature. It is warm. I fill the bath with warm water. I take off all my clothes and put my hair in a bun. I get inside and I feel the water take away all my worries. I close my eyes. And this body wash smells really good. It's with coconut. The ultimate smell for summer time. I spent almost two hours there but the water starts getting cold. I wash my body and wrap with a towel my wet body. I open the door and walk out. 

I hear two people talking. I stop walking and look back. It is mom and Klaus. I just shake my head and walk to my room. I get dressed and let my hair down to dry. Someone knocks on my bedroom door. I turn around. It is mom.

" Hi "

She says and walks inside. 

"  Hey, mom "

I say let my towel on the bed. 

" How are you?"

She asks as she sits on the bed. 

 "I'm good, you?"

" Amazing, so we will go to the beach and eat, do you want to come?"

' No, mom I will stay here"

She stands up.

" Okay, be careful "

She walks out. Easy. I sit on the bed and open the TV. I see that it has an interesting movie, so I watch it. Some minutes after they left. Mark come to my bedroom and knock on the door.

" Melanie is it comfortable to come in?"

He asks. I stand from my position and smile.

" Yes, come in "

I say and lower the voice of the TV. He walks inside. 

" I made lunch if you are hungry"

" Thanks, maybe later "

" Okay, whatever you need I will be in the living room. "

I laugh.

" I will not need anything. Why don't you go out a little? We are in Hawaii "

I say.

"  Mister O'Brien want me to look after you."

Klaus. I don't need anyone to look after me. Why he is like this? I'm good and im laying on the bed watching a movie, what can possibly go wrong. Nothing. 

"  Well as you see im good. If I need anything I will tell you, I promise. But for now, I don't need anything so relax. Eat, watch some movie. Please. "

He smiles. It is the first time that I see him. And he is more good and nice looking like this. When I first see him, I was scared. But he is good and polite and friendly.

" Okay, okay. I will be out if you need me. "

He says and walks out. I lay back and continue the movie. When it ends I get out my room and walk to the kitchen. Mark was sitting on the couch watching the news, he had eaten. When he sees me, he goes to stand up but I stop him.

" No need, I can put myself to eat. "

I say and he sits back down. I can't understand Klaus. Why he put Mark to look after me? I'm not a baby. And that's so unfair for Mark, its not only that he had to come here with us. I'm sure he had better plans for the week. For example to stay with his daughter. And why he had to come with us? It's a vacation. He had to babysit me as well. God. I put food on the plate for me. He is unbelievable. I have to talk to them for that. I walk back to my room. I ate in my room and I watch one more movie. Today was a chill day. I need it to relax. The way here tired me up a lot and all this situation that is going on last months.
