Silence had settled in the private restaurant chamber as Attarah began to eat her delicious meal, slicing open a ravioli and smiling as she ate it, it was much more extravagant than she ever believe pasta could be. The silence was not an awkward atmosphere, it was calm. We smiled at her and she glanced up and swirled the wine in his wine glass.
"It is nice?" he queried and she smiled with a nod.
"It's delicious." she ate some more before frowning slightly "These people manage to make everything so extravagant. I don't even want to know how much this wine costs" She spoke and he just smiled at her.
"You mean the world to me and I have more money than a man can ever spend, you are deserving of every penny I spend on you. This is the high life my love, enjoy it." he smiled and she returned it.
"In that case.." she began and he rose his eyebrows. "I could do with some more wine" she giggled and took the last gulp from her glass. He just laughed and winked.

Attarah giggled and span in a circle, she wasn't drunk but she was sober. She was only slightly tipsy, enough to give her confidence that she usually lacked. Caius chuckled in the near distance and snapped another photo on his sleek phone. She span under the street lights and a fountain sprinkled behind her, blue lights beneath the rippled turning her legs a bluish hue.
"You're so far away" she moaned in a laugh and sat in a heap on the wall of the fountain, dipping her hand in the water and allowing it to run through her fingers. Caius walked to meet her and sat to her left, he reached forward and tucked a lock of hair behind her ear. "Why can't it be like this forever?" she asked and he frowned.
"What is it that you want forever my love?"
"I love all three of you with all my heart but the best memories with each of you I made have been alone time. I'm a very private person and I suppose this still feels bizarre to me, despite how long it's been. I just want this amount of love... This amount of care... Forever and I suppose this makes me selfish." she looked down at her hands.
"I understand" he began before pausing. "We never expected it to be easy and each of us savour every moment we have alone with you. But we know we cannot be selfish with you, we know that something as perfect as you must be shared." Caius smiled "What worries you so much?"
"All the love, the affection, the small visits and trips. I feel like I'll lose it all when I'm a vampire. I adore the way you treat me and I've began to love being a human so much with you three. I never knew how important it was for me to be human. I worry that the... Dynamic of the relationship I have with you all will change when I'm like you."
"Oh my dear Sweet Attarah. You are so precious and pure. Please believe me when I tell you that you and I, and the others too are forever and this perfect relationship that we share with you as a human will not change when you are a vampire. We were prepared.. And frankly petrified that upon becoming like us, you would want us to back away, you would want dependence. So hearing that you don't want us to change is music to my ears and your wish is my command. I will always care for you, treat you and savour your touch. We will always go on trips, holidays, picnics. All we do now will transition into your new life baby, but you'll have longer to experience it. And it'll be perfect."
"This truly is forever?"
"Forever my darling. Yet you mustn't worried, I'm not ready to let you become like us, you have many years before this. The restraint is all worth it. You are mesmerising." he smiled and she leant forward, cuddling into his side. The restaurant had been extraordinary but after eating they had decided upon a stroll that brought them here.
Before they comprehended, a large amount of time had passed and rain began to patter down upon them, Attarah shivered and snuggled closer to her mate, upon instinct despite his freezing temperature. He smiled and wrapped his arm around her.
"I suppose this is the sign to tell us its time to go back" he smiled and the pair stood as rain continued to fall at a faster pace.
