Attarah stretched and yawned loudly, barely awake, her hair was fanned out on her pillow and she felt like she was sleeping on a warm cloud. She knew that it was stretching on mid day but she still had no desire to wake up. She had stayed up late the previous night. However her bliss did not last long as the door was slammed open.
Her eyes peeled open and she groaned loudly as she saw who it was in the doorway, it was Miranda, Vanessa and Heidi smiling happily at her.
"Come on Attarah! It's the day of the masquerade ball" Vanessa smiled and grabbed the humans hand, quickly pulling her up onto her feet. Attarah grumbled.
"I don't want to go. We don't need to go yet" she groaned and they all laughed.
"Attarah, it's nearly two o clock already and you need to get your dress fitted and then get ready for the ball" Vanessa giggled.
"Well what are you guys wearing?" she brunette questioned.
"We've already got our ball gowns" Heidi stated and Attarah rolled her eyes and sighed unhappily. They all dragged the female down the hallway to a large room where two human women stood and a gorgeous dark blue ball gown. Attarah grumbled. She knew that they knew all of her dimensions for dress sizes so she was a bit irritated that they still continued to need her to fit dresses.
"What colour are you guys wearing tonight?" Attarah questioned as she stood with her arms out, the dress being pinned onto her body.
"Green" Vanessa stated with a raised eyebrow as though it were obvious. The others giggled.
"Red" Heidi stated.
"Purple" was Miranda's shy reply.
"You guys are going to look absolutely gorgeous" Attarah smiled. It had been Chelsea's ides to have a Christmas ball, it was destined to be a very formal occasion and Attarah wasn't particularly excited.
