Morning had broken and Attarah woke up into a warmth around her, smiling she opened her eyes to sunlight and as she glanced through the great windows of glass, she witnessed sunshine dancing above the trees. Stretching like a feline, the female twisted her body to sit as a yawn graced her plump lips. Eyes squinting through the light she headed toward the ensuit bathroom where she took care of many hinges before dressing as casually as she could, with the stifling heat.
The first time she found any form of species was when she came to the end of her corridor where two guards hovered. It confused Attarah as there had not been such strong security during her past holidays. Finding herself within the kitchen, she's welcomed by a smiling Caius dressed casually yet still looking godlike. His hair in a 'manbun' which Attarah couldn't help but find adorable. She felt even more attracted to him than before, if that was at all possible.
"Good morning my sunshine" he beamed as he motioned with his pale hand for her to take the seat beside him, thankfully her breakfast was light and cold, yogurt and fruit. As if recognising her distress from the heat, Caius places his palm against her forehead and she felt an instant cool rush through her, a great relief. The man chuckles.
"Today we shall be going out, on a boat." he beamed and she giggled at the thought, thankful that she wore a pretty bikini beneath her thin dress.
"you know how to drive a boat?" she questioned somewhat idiotically, before noticing that the man was old enough to know how to do everything. Age brings wisdom.
"of course" he smiles at her noticing her confusion and embarrassment. He could feel her skin heat even more beneath the hand that still rested upon her forehead.
"why does that not surprise me?" she mumbles to herself and it is met with a chuckle.
"once you have finished, collect what you need and meet me by the entrance" he winks.
Attarah and Caius walk hand in hand through some tall trees, sand flowing into sandals for many long minutes before they finally found a break in the vegetation, beyond was a modestly sized beach with white sands and blue water, a great greywashed cliff face looking over them and a scatter of boulders. Thrusting from the natural area was a man, a dock of light and dark greys with robes and at the very end, a large yacht that was evidently beautiful and expensive yet Attarah knew nothing about them.
"that's it?" she whispered in awe and he chuckled.
"you'll have to get used to being rich gorgeous"
"I don't think I ever could." she giggled at him and turned, jumping up so that her legs tied around him and arms snaked around his warm neck, a monkey hold that made him chuckle and snuggle into her, inhaling her intoxicating scent.
"let's go princess" he chuckled and carried her along the dock in his arms, he glittered in the sunlight but only Attarah was there to take in and experience the beauty of it as they entered the plush boat with a perfectly timed hop from the king.
"here you go my gorgeous one" he placed her down on a seat and she snuggled into the cool of the leather ad he chuckled and began to sort things out upon the boat, he was with numerous other vampires but one said a word and when the boat was set up, they vanished momentarily as Caius began to sail.
"this is so exciting, I have only ever been on a boat when I went finishing with my dad but the water was murky and the boat small. This is so gorgeous and the water is amazingly clear, I can see everything.
"perks of being rich" Caius winks. "this is your life now baby."
