To: Tsukki

sorry, Tsukki!

I smiled at my small impersonation of Tadashi and decided to check back on any other newer messages I've received.

From: Yachi

I can't wait for the training camp! We're going to become closer friends!! (つㅇㅅㅇ)つ

Staring at the glowing screen in front of me, my mind began to wander.

How long has it been since I had friends?

Realising that I had been staring at my phone for a while, I hurriedly replied back.

To: Yachi

yeah :)

I sighed, dropping my phone back onto the table, and sunk into the comfort of my blanket.

"You don't talk a lot do you?"

I just don't want to

"You seem livelier on text!"

It's hard to converse with people in real life.

"You must be really shy"

No... I just don't feel like talking..

"Why don't you smile a bit more?"

There's nothing... to smile about...

My eyes slowly fluttered open after a dream for what seemed to be an eternity. I lay lifelessly on my bed, staring at the ceiling above me. I let out a long sigh and covered my eyes with the back of my palms.

Staying in that position for a couple of minutes, I finally decide to uncover my eyes and turn my head to check my alarm clock.

5:27 AM

After a long inner debate on whether I should stay in bed or just get up and go school early for once, I decided to get out of bed since I couldn't go back to sleep anyway. Closing my alarm to prevent it from ringing, I walked into the bathroom.

Walking down the stairs after washing my face and brushing my teeth, I could smell the scent of freshly made waffles wafting through the air around me. Cooking food this early in the morning could only lead me to the conclusion that it was indeed Rei.

I turned around the corner of the staircase and saw him finishing off with cooking the dish.

"Morning", I greeted him.

He turned around with a dumbfounded expression on his face.

"Who the fuck are you and what did you do to my sister??"

"..What?"

"THERE'S NO WAY YOU WOULD WAKE UP THIS EARLY", Rei yelled pointing at me accusingly with a spatula in hand.

"Ughhh it's too early for this", I groaned and planted my head sidewards onto the dinner table.

He looked at me for a few seconds and slowly placed down the spatula he was holding.

"..You alright?", Rei questioned.

"Huh?"

"You don't seem like yourself today. Maybe its just too early for your brain to process anything", Rei joked.
