"....Eh?", the group replied, dumbfounded.
"Don't underestimate the power of chips", Rei deadpanned.
"W-wait! There seems to be a misunderstanding here!", Daichi frantically waved his hands about.
"A misunderstanding?", Rei narrowed his eyes, "Then why does it look like you have two kids at the back waving their hands like they need help?"
Daichi turned back to face the two, "Oi, Hinata! Nishinoya! What are you trying to do?!"
"We just wanted to make sure he could see us!", Hinata whined.
"Hey, guy at door! What did you say about me being a kid?!", Nishinoya readied himself to fight the door, only to be held back by Sugawara.
"Calm down! Daichi, hold him down. I don't want him attacking someone", Sugawara sweat-dropped and passed Nishinoya to Daichi before stepping up to the door.
"We're terribly sorry for the ruckus", he bowed, "We're on the Karasuno boys' volleyball team, and Lily has asked us to meet at her place"
"...She didn't tell me anything", Rei spoke sharply, "Well, assuming that dumbass just forgot to tell me, is there any specific reason why you're here?"
"Judging by your voice, you must be Rei-san", Sugawara deduced calmly with a smile, "We're here to talk about the email",
Rei's eyes widened slightly before returning to normal, "Sure, I'll just give Lily a call first"
"C'mon man, please just let us in!", Nishinoya complained and paced back and forth.
"I feel like we're doing some two-step verification on Google", Yamaguchi gave a nervous chuckled and scratched his cheek with a finger.
"Wait... If he's calling her, then she's not home yet, right?", Hinata wondered out aloud and looked at Kageyama.
Without meeting Hinata's gaze, Kageyama replied, "Well done, genius"
/At Lily's school/
"Let's hangout, Lily-chan!", Student A cheered.
Ignoring her, I looked at my phone to check who was calling me and picked up.
"Is something wrong?", I spoked into my phone.
"Ehhh, don't ignore me, Lily-chan!", she pouted, sinking down in the seat of the table next to mine.
"Did you invite the Karasuno guys to our place today?", Rei's voice echoed through the phone.
"Crap, yeah, I forgot to tell you. Just to confirm, what do they look like?"
"Well, they're all wearing black uniforms, and the one that stands out the most looks like a baby tangerine"
I suppressed my laugh since Student A was still somewhat listening to my responses, "That's them alright. I'll be back soon"
After ending the call, I stood up and packed my belongings away.
"Heyyy, did something bad happen?", Student A questioned, tilting her head.
"I need to go", I replied quickly and tried to leave her behind.
