Chapter 10

"So... what's the news?"

"The good news is that I've found the account where the money was sent to, and I've already transferred the money back into where it belongs", I informed Coach Ukai.

A sigh of relief gushed across his face.

"And the bad..?", he asked, slightly intimidated.

"I'm not able to track down the holder of the account. Literally everything is unknown!", I raised my voice slightly before apologising.

"Sorry I couldn't exactly solve the issue.."

After a moment of silence, he placed both his hands on my shoulders.

"There's no need for you to beat yourself up about this. You've done plenty for me already! At least the money is back, safe and sound", he grinned.

I smile slowly spread on my face as I looked up at him.

"I've strengthened the barriers allocated towards your bank account information. No one would be able to hack their way in anymore", I told Coach Ukai.

"*sigh* Thanks a lot, Lily. I mean it", he assured me one last time.

I finally breathed a sigh of relief and content, feeling slightly happy that I had used my skills to help someone.

"Well, I'll get going now", I told him.

"Huh? Already?", Coach Ukai asked quizzically.

"Yeah.. I haven't exactly told my mum that I'd be here", I shrugged.

"Okay, I understand. But first, I need to make an announcement to the team", he told me and started to head back towards the gym doors.

"Wait, why do you need me?", I asked, trailing slowly behind him.

Coach Ukai turned around and pointed at me, "Because you're part of the team too!"

My eyes widened in surprise, not expecting what he had said.

"For once... I'm included.."

I smiled once again and walked into the gym with him.

"Is there an issue with something? You two were talking for quite a while out there", Daichi questioned the both of us.

"Nothing. I was just discussing with Lily about the announcement I'm going to make now", Coach Ukai replied.

"Whatever it is, I have to act not surprised.. ugh"

"Gather up!", Coach Ukai echoed throughout the gym.

"What's this about?", Yamaguchi asked.

"GAH, DON'T TELL US THAT QUEEN LILY IS LEAVING US!!", Nishinoya yelled, his knees planted on the ground.

"NO THAT CAN'T BE TRUE! IS IT LILY?!", Tanaka joined in the protest.

I acted nonchalant, with my facial expression slowly displaying sadness.

"NOO0OOoo, what's with that face?! It's not true!! You just gave us your phone number!", Hinata shouted.

"Just kidding", I answered, my face returning to my usual poker face, and stuck my tongue out.

"Lily-chan your acting is too good for your benefit!! You scared me!", Yachi cried and captured me in a hug.

"Tch, I could care less if the queen leaves. One less nuisance to deal with", Tsukishima inputted and smirked.

"Haha, but Tsukki, you're still calling her 'queen'. I think that's something", Yamaguchi peered over.

"...Shut up, Yamaguchi", Tsukishima replied briefly and turned away.
