Chapter 27 - Aobajousai Pt 1

Lily and Rei watched as the group walked off, and their figures slowly disappeared from view.

I turned to Rei, "So are you coming with me on both weekends?"

"I'll come with you on Saturday, but I'll see if I feel like going on Sunday", he replied, walking back into the house with his hands on the back of his head.

Saturday - Aobajousai

Sunday - Fukurodani, and Kuroo

As we stepped back inside our house, Rei began to speak.

"Why'd you tell them to prepare for the exams in case you can't retrieve the reports?"

"Obviously so they won't fail their supplementary exams, duh", I replied blatantly and began heading up to my room.

"You know that's not what I mean", Rei folded his arms and let out a chuckle before continuing, "Recovering deleted files is as easy as breathing for you"

I stopped walking up the stairs and leaned on the wooden railing, "Part of me just wanted to keep them in suspense. I might even decide to get their reports the day before their supplementaries; heck, maybe on the day", I smiled at my brother sinisterly, who flinched at the look.

"...Is this sadism?"

Saturday - 8 am

"Get your lazy ass up"

"Ughhh", I groaned in response to the familiar voice of my brother, "...no"

I buried my head under my warm blanket and attempted to continue to sleep. However, it wasn't long until my blanket was pried off of me and onto the ground.

I rolled around so that I face-planted onto the pillow, "What the hell do you want this early in the morning?", I replied groggily into the pillow, which muffled my voice.

"Did you already forget that we're supposed to go to Aobajousai today?!", Rei retorted loudly.

"Of course I didn't forget"

I lifted my head slightly, with my eyes still half-open, and reached out for my phone, "Ugh, it's only 8... wake me up at 9", I dropped my phone and collapsed back into my pillow.

"No, seriously, get up. I need your help"

As soon as I heard that, I immediately sat upright, "YOU need help from ME??", I gestured using my finger, "Right, I must be still dreaming. Good night"

"W-WAIT!", Rei shouted and instantly held me by my shoulders to prevent me from going back to sleep.

"I can not fathom such an alternate universe where the all-mighty Rei would need help from me", I half-heartedly acted dramatically before sighing and decided to talk normally, "So what's gotten to you?"

He clasped his hands together, "Would you PLEASE be to one to ask that Oikawa guy for an autograph?"

"That's what you're stressing over? Hell no, it's YOUR friend who wants the autograph"

"I am not gonna grovel for an autograph from a younger guy! My pride is going to be smashed into pieces!", Rei mentally broke down and ruffled his hair messily, but his face suddenly lit up.
