CHAPTER 29

Day of Birthday

The day came, the day I was waiting for. That one day when I was going to be able to live on my own and live happily, on my own just like I wanted.

Jin bought me a new phone and he told me to contact him whenever I felt sad or sick. He left it at yoongis place which I was in with the rest of the guys except jimin. He had to go do somethings with seulgi that I kind of felt sad because he was the first person wanted to see when I walked through the doors.

We went to many places and ate a whole lot because of yoongi, he likes to eat. But he mainly did it for me because he said I was too skinny.

Taehyung as always was hanging from some bars that looked like even the wind would be able to break it.

"Taehyung lets not go over this again!"

"What!!!! y/n it's your birthday you are our maknae now don't act like eomma jin" he whined.

Taehyung and hoseok were really good at making other laugh and make others smile gladly they never failed to do so. even a girl like me they were able to make me laugh. I loved being with them but jimin wasn't there with us and it mostly brought me down that he wasn't there with us, with me.

After a while, we went to an amusement park and went on a lot of rides. I tried to be happy but it only reminded me of when jimin and I went on our first date. Jungkook was the first one to notice so he would come to me and told me that I will see him later in the day. More like in the night, he was working with seulgi and fixing some things with her but he never told me about it.

In the morning he woke up and ignored, he just left without saying anything. I tried to ask him something but he only said that he wanted to go to work. At first, I thought that he forgot my birthday but when he was out the door I heard him yell happy birthday. It made me smile but it wasn't enough because he hasn't texted me or called me to wish me a happy birthday or to at least check up on me.

"Don't worry y/n jimin can't make it right now but he will later ok? he's coming maybe with a present for you"

"I know but still... I wanted him to be here.. at least him since jin isn't here..."

"Jin is older and very busy... we all know he wanted to make it but at least he bought you a phone"

Hoseok and taehyung tried to lighten up the mood but it wasn't helping. Did I mention joy was there too? Most of the time I would see here with taehyung but I didn't think anything of it. Jungkook tried to separate them but it was hard because the way I saw things she really liked him. She said that he seemed like a great guy and she would like to talk to him more but if her father found out things wouldn't be so great.

"I know.... I just wish they were here"

"oooh cmon y/n it's no time to be so gloomy! it's your birthday and you are an adult now! live your life"

Typical taehyung, screaming and making so much noise that catches the attention of others around us. But they were right, I can't let just two people ruin my mood. Although I really wanted those people there with me I have to enjoy the time while I still have it. If I kept on being like that then I would miss the most important day of my life.

We kept on riding some roller coasters and ended the night by going to a Ferris wheel. Surprisingly we all were able to fit and the thing didn't fall. Of course, yoongi tried scaring us by shaking the things that I even cried along with joy. He felt bad and hugged us both which helped a lot.

After everything, we went home tired of our lives with sore throats because of all the screaming. That day was the best and also very funny. Hoseok and yoongi came off the rides with tears in their eyes which made everyone laugh.

That day it made me realize what good people I have around me, they made me smile, the made me cry, they made me laugh, they took care of me mostly. I had the ones that I already knew and ones that we new to me but I liked them. They were very nice people and I couldn't ask for anyone else than them. Only a few days and they meant a whole lot to me just like I meant a whole lot to them.

Once we got off the car candles were lit in a path leading to the front door. I was nervous because I felt like it would lead to a birthday sex with friends around. But I thought wrong when I turned around and saw them gone. The car was already down the road showing the backlights.

The door was opened and flower petals were also there leading the path in between the candles. There were so many that it could probably be hundreds of them. The fact that it wasn't a small house but a mansion with a huge front yard. Anyone who passed would stop to see because it was amazingly beautiful. It wasn't an everyday thing where you pass by a house and see candles with flower petals all over the front yard of a rich person house.

I followed the path very hesitantly but I had a feeling of who was at the end of it. Walking slowly and a short smile on my face I kept walking until I was met with the staircase I once used to go up.

Just as I expected the one I loved was at the end of it with happy birthday written on the bed with the flower petals. The smile of my face grew bigger once our eyes met. His smile was there too but I saw lust in his eyes, I knew he wanted to make this night special for me but I didn't know it was going to be like that.

"Little girl.... happy birthday... you know that I am happier that you are not just growing up but becoming more beautiful as you age... I hope that even when you're old you face looks as beautiful as always and I hope that you won't change a bit.... but I also want to be the one to see you age and grow.... that's why I want to spend the rest of my life with you.... I want you to have my name.."

He came closer and pecked my lips softly then got down on one knee.

"My little girl... will you.... make me.... the happiest man on this earth and..... marry me?"
