Just a little thing that I thought of while writing a different oneshot so yeah

"Martin, wait..."
He stopped when he heard his name being called before turning around to see Simon standing a foot away from him with a thoughtful expression.
"What is it?" Martin asked the teen. Simon played with the strap of his backpack while looking down for a few minutes before taking a deep breath and looked up at the man, "Is..this okay?" Simon slowly asked making Martin blink a bit in confusion before it suddenly clicked of what the teen was asking. "O-Oh...yeah, the Fireflies have other people that are willing to help them with the cure" Martin explained to the teen which made Simon furrow his eyebrow and looked back down.
"You aren't saying that to make me feel better...right?" Simon asked him. Martin started nodding, "Ye-" "Swear to me!" Simon quickly interrupted him making the man stare at him, "Swear to me that everything you told me is true" Simon asked him again in a pleading tone.
Martin looked a bit surprised before taking a deep breath and walked to the teen, gently placing his hands on the other's shoulders and stared at him for a few seconds.
"I swear" Martin firmly told the teen.
Simon's expression changed for a split second and looked away for a minute before looking back up at the man and slowly nodding. "...okay"
