Two Types (Boyf riends)

Jeremy liked what was called romantic love. Romantic love could mean anything where he was deep in romance with someone else and they were the most important thing to him. He liked to kiss deeply for extended periods of time, put his hands on Michael's waist, he liked to be able to feel his lover. He liked to feel someone else's heartbeat, have passionate sex, and gaze into someone's eyes. He wanted deep and passionate love where he could commit himself to the other person. And that was absolutely perfectly compatible with Michael.

Michael liked what was called soft love. Soft love could be anything from holding your lover close for hours on end to the most vanilla sex imaginable, as long as it was something...sweet...then it was soft love. Michael liked to call Jeremy nicknames. He liked to give Jeremy forehead kisses and hold his hand at school. He liked to spoon or be spooned, he liked to give him flowers, he liked to cover his neck in light hickeys. That was what he craved.

They both had two different definitions of love. Romance and admiration. Two similar, yet nowhere near the same types of relationships. But that didn't stop them from taking care of the other’s wants and needs. Jeremy would make sure to hold Michael close whenever they slept, and Michael would make sure to kiss Jeremy as deep as he could. They fit so perfectly together to be so different.
