Chapter Eight: Past

During the whole car ride, Calla keeps thinking about the way the male lead was looking at her and she did not like it.  She could tell from Rory's eyes that he was looking at her with pity. She hates people who look at her with pity because it reminds her of the reason why she decided to lock herself in her room.

In her last life, Call was the youngest in her family and she was not as talented as her older siblings. Her older sister was talented in the entertainment arts, while her older brother was a genius in mathematics. Her second sister was a prodigy in playing the piano and her second brother was an athlete star. Her being born into a family full of talented people, of course, people would assume she will be a talented person. They were wrong, she was average, except her look.

The only good point about her was that she was more beautiful than her siblings. She might be beautiful, but she was a bad actress, model, singer, and dancer, unlike her sister. Also, it takes her more than three days to memories an equation. She wasn't good at sport either. She could run for five minutes, before her backside would start hurting, making her feel dizzy and barfing. She was not bad at playing instruments, but she wasn't good either. She had been playing instruments for more than twelve years and she was still unable to recognize any notes.

Even with average grades, she was still happy, because her family loves her. They never forced her to do anything she doesn't want to do. Her family spoil her and give her anything she wants. Even with so many things, she gets from her parents and siblings she wasn't selfish because they teach her rights from wrongs. They teach her to be kind to others and to stand up for what is right. They tell her to be grateful for what she has. They taught her many life lessons.

Elle was having a perfect life, that is until all her siblings graduated from high school and she was left alone. Her sister, a famous actress decided to move to a place famous for producing wonderful movies. Her brother decided to work in a space station far away from home. Her second sister decided to join a traveling orchestra. Her second brother was the only one who really homes, but when soccer season came up, he would always come home late.

Elle thought everything would be fine even without her siblings going to school with her, but she was wrong. The people who used to hang out with her sisters and her were avoiding her and did not want anything to do with her. They wouldn't even look at her. They were avoiding her like the plague.

Elle did not understand why people were avoiding her, but she does not like it. Whenever she tries to ask them why, they would just look at her and run away.

It wasn't until Elle last year of high school that she understands the reason why. It was because people were afraid of her. She never really understood why they were afraid of her. She ends up searching for clues, but found nothing, until her college years. They were afraid of her because of a crazy stalker that been stalking her. The stalker would threaten anyone who gets closed to her and for some unknown reason, the stalker would always get away with what he did.

Realizing her and her family life might be in danger, she decided to not tell them about it, instead, she hires a private investigator to find out who the stalker was. The stalker was one of her big sister crazy fan. The stalker used to stalk her big sister until he saw Elle and see that she was more beautiful than her sister, therefore he decided to change his target.

Police were able to arrest him and put him to jail. After the arrest, Elle thought people would not be afraid of her anymore and she was right about that, but they have still avoided her. This time it was because they were jealous that she had talent siblings. They were also jealous that she does not have to do anything because her siblings were the one who made all the money and spoils her with it. They were also angry at the fact that she does not have any talent.

Elle thought she would spend her years in college alone until she meat Charlotte. Charlotte was the one who approaches her, not caring about the rumor. She was the one who introduced Elle to the world of books and mangas. She was Elle first friend. Charlotte introduces Elle to her friends and they become good friends with Elle. Elle believes the moment will last, but another bad thing has to happen. Charlotte ends up dying in a car accident by the hand of Elle stalker, who manages to escape from jail. After Charlotte death, many of her friends started distancing themselves from her. They were afraid they will be the next victims. Even after the stalker was arrested and put in maximum prison, they still wouldn't look or talk to Elle.

Whenever Elle walks into her college campus, the students would look at her with pities and fears. After a while, she could not take the stare anymore, so she decided to quit going to school. Elle locks herself in her room, reading books. Most books she read were fantasy books because it makes her believe in a world better than the one she was living in.

Elle never tells her parents about the fears and pities look she got from her friends and the students, nor how her best friends die because of her. She keeps all the burden to herself. Her parents tried to force her out of her room, but she never listens and that end up causing her life.

Calla was crying in her sleep when she was thinking about her past life and how she regretted not telling her parents about the burden she keeps inside off her. Even now, she still carries that burden inside of her, but she had nobody to talk with. People will think she crazy if she speaks about it, therefore she decided to hide it until she dies. The burden that will never leave her alone.

Susan carries the sleeping Calla into her own room, while Calla was dreaming of her past life.

I am so sorry for the really late update. It was because writing Elle past life and making it her character similar to who she is in her present self-was really hard.
