_Cosmos31 told me about a freaking epic theory based on the uncanny resemblances between Kai and Kylie!

Similar black/red hair, similar eye color, similar names. The only difference is that Kai is a lot more tan. Kylie has a dislike against Magiclicas that seems to go a little bit farther than Ebony's trash. Coincidence or not?

Also rip my keyboard it's being like how it is in the DA app and covering what I'm writing...

"Come on Kai! Let's GOOOO!" The four-year-old said to her older brother.

"I'm coming, I'm coming! Slow down!" The five-year-old boy laughed as he chased after his sister.

"We're not gonna have time to play if we don't get there fast!" The sister continued to encourage the boy as she jogged backward to face him. The boy groaned at her showing off and put on an extra burst of speed.

She gasped as her brother started to catch up to her and turned to face the right way when she was pushed to the ground. She shrieked and laughed as her brother flopped on top of her, laughing along with her.

"Get off me!" the sister demanded.

"Never! At least, not until you admit that I'm the winner," Kai teased. They had had a competition, a sibling rivalry if you will, for as long as they could remember, and even though neither of them could remember what actually started it they continued it whenever one seized the oppertunity.

Kylie stuck out her tongue. "Never!"

Kai laughed and put his hands on his hips, sitting up tall and proud. "I'm not moving until you do!"

The young girl had other plans to get out of admitting defeat, however. As her brother sat up, she rolled over, knocking him off her and allowing her to sit up. She jumped to her feet and brushed off the grass while her brother sat, surprised, on the ground before grumbling as he slowly got up as well.

"I'll get you next time, just wait!" he promised.

"We'll see about that, brother," Kylie teased rather confidently for a child her age. But between her brother's games and their parents' constant praise and support, the two were raised to be confident and self-assured in who they are.

He sent her a glare but could only be so harsh, considering the humorous glow in his sky-blue eyes. Kylie laughed and skipped forward, continuing their trek to meet their mother at the park after she finished some of her boring appointments.

The sibling pair walked a few more minutes and they reached their destination. It was an average park- a swingset to the side, a playground structure with a slide, monkey bars, silly puzzles, and a couple bridges to make it look like a castle to a child's imagination.

Kai glanced around. "Mom's not here yet," he decided before his face lit up. "That means we can play!"

Kylie cheered and ran forward once more. She ran up the steps and immediately flung herself down the slide, laughing at the wind messing up her short hair as she whisked down the static-ey plastic.

Kai had gone to attempt the monkey bars, however, his skinny arms only got him a couple bars across before he dropped to the ground.

As Kylie reached of the bottom of the slide her feet slid off and she stood up gracefully in one motion. At the same time, there were some shrieks and bursts of color as some other kids that had been playing at the bottom of the slide were startled by her appearance.

"Oops! Sorry!" Kylie immediately apologized and held out her hand to help one of the children up. They were older than her and Kai and all had some sort of strange but interesting feature about their hair or eyes.

The boy slapped her hand away. "Screw you! You nearly crushed me!" he yelled. Kylie winced at his harsh tone and immediately felt guilty at his accusation. Did I really?

"I'm really sorry. I didn't know anyone was here. You guys weren't here when I went up..." she said quietly. One of the other kids huffed.

"So what? You still shoulda known! Don't you know to look before you go down?" she grumbled.

Kylie was starting to get really upset now. "I-I just wanted to go down the slide..." she murmured, sniffing as she tried to keep any tears from falling.

The other kids laughed at her emotional response. "You're such a crybaby!" the girl teased.

"I bet you're a Cipher! No wonder! You've got no backbone without powers!" the boy exclaimed, holding up his hand and showing off as his hand glowed orange. Kylie let out a squeak and jumped back from his hand, surprised and jealous of his cool ability. I want my hand to glow too!

The boy laughed in a rather mean way and waved his hand toward her. "Don't like my power? That's right! Bow down, Cipher peasant!" he ordered.

"Hey! That's enough," Kylie sighed in relief as her big brother Kai stepped in. "You don't need to be mean."

The girl put her hands to her hips and leaned forward sassily. "Says who? You? You look like her, you're just a Cipher too!" she mocked.

Kylie watched as Kai made no recognizable response to the insult. "Cipher or not, can't we all share the playground? We all make mistakes." He shrugged.

The boy glared at the siblings and huffed in annoyance. "Fine. But don't bother us, Ciphers!" with that he and his friend walked away.

"Thanks, Kai!" Kylie exclaimed and buried her head into him. He let out an "oof" at the impact but immediately returned the hug.

"Do you know what a Cipher is?" The older brother asked his sister.

She shook her head. "Not a clue!"

A shadow covered both of them. The siblings looked up to see a tall man with black hair and black eyes towering over them, his face darkened by the sun overhead. "Hello, children," he greeted with a smooth, calm voice and kneeled down to their height.

"Hello!" Kylie waved happily. Kai was less friendly and gave a curt nod while reaching to grip his sister's hand behind their backs.

"Hi, sir," he said simply.

The man had an intrigued look on his face as he tilted it to the side, giving them a soft smile of reassurance.

"That was rather brave of you to stand up to those other kids," the man complimented them but also looking mostly at Kai.

The young boy's inhibition immediately disappeared and he grinned proudly. "Thank you mister!"

"There are a lot more people like that in the world, you know. Looking down at Ciphers for something they can't control..." he murmured.

Kylie put a finger to her chin in questioning. "What's a Cipher?" she asked with innocent curiosity.

The man looked between the two children. "Such innocence, such confidence... This is too easy..." he said under his breath. Kai frowned and opened to ask something when all of a sudden the man reached out and grabbed the boy's arm.

"Hey! Let me go!" Kai screeched and twisted his body away from the man.

"KAI!" his sister yelled and reached for his outstretched hand to her.

"Kylie!" Then a swirling dark blue vortex appeared and the man pulled her brother through it, making him disappear and replacing him with the image of their mother running frantically toward them.

Kylie stared at where she had just seen her brother's sky blue eyes staring at her in terror. She heard their mother asking frantic questions and other parents and the other children coming to see what had happened, but it all sounded dull and she couldn't make it out. All Kylie see was her brother's eyes and his outstretched hand and heard his voice calling her name over and over again.

"Kai?" she whispered.
