CASEY'S Death? (Theory)

I just had a horrible thought

What if Casey finds out Chase is still alive in some form and like, gives his life for Chase's?!?!??!!

Because I was scrolling through Jakey's community page looking for those wing motifs that keep popping up (still trying to figure that out) and I came across Casey's little promo thing

There are very few "points of no return" in... anything. Only two I can think of are 1. Death and 2. When a character does something so bad they can no longer be considered "good"

Chase is dead, as far as the characters know. We know he's not because of the particle scene and the extended ending and the news promo (fun fact: I helped write it! >^<) and finally the trailer. But that's more or less outside the show. I forget the term for when the audience knows more than the characters lol

ANYWAY-

Say that Casey finds out that Chase is still alive, with part of Ichiro still in him. As any relieved and still pretty grief-stricken person would do, he'd probably want to find a way to get Chase back to his normal self. Maybe Casey even finds a way to separate/cure/whatever term you want Chase and Ichiro, but Chase says no because they don't know the consequences for Casey or himself. Casey is kinda stubborn though, and who knows what he'll do.

At first thought, one would think that grave behind Casey is a memorial for Chase. But if you look REALLY closely in the background to the right, there's a sort of dark-angel-like figure.

In the new title sequence for season 2, (I believe he's being called "reborn Chase"??) also has dark wings. The only other character I could find who had the same sort of dark wings -type motif is Melissa, who had a relation to both Chase and Ichiro.

So I'm thinking the dark angel thing signifies reborn Chase

Then what else is that grave for?

Going back to my "points of no return" thing, if the other option is that Casey does something really really bad (which he's sort of been on his way too before he redeemed himself) for Chase, what if like Casey switches Chase's and his souls like what happened to Ivy and Kaya? And it changes the two brothers completely because Chase (now Casey) was tied to Ichiro's soul? I'm already suspecting that Chase has some sort of personality change from this, so what if the same happens to Casey but it's a lot more drastic and negative?

In theory, we could have his personality to be tainted so drastically maybe it's more Ichiro in control than Casey, and we could lose Casey forever, going back to the grave.

This is a LOT of speculation and tbh it's probably not going to happen????? But you never know... All my evidence is basically from the picture above, the rest of the images like it on the community page, and the new title sequence intro. AKA not a lot.

Is it bad I'd kind of like to see something like this happen...? It's dark, but interesting to think about. And just from that trailer for S2 the song itself is black (literally) so it's promising to be a dark season for a while. Either way I'm hyped!
