I wonder if the only reason Jakey ended S1 on episode 23 is so that in his system of labeling the episodes it was "123"

Oh why, oh why, oh why oh why oh why would I do this?
Piccolos were NOT allowed to be in the Magiclica world, and for good reason! The people in that world were GIANTS compared to Piccolos and could squash them like a bug without even noticing!
So, why would Jakey break into the Magiclica world and risk his unfortunate early (he was only 23) demise?
For learning purposes, of course.
Once he had snuck through the portal into the Magiclica world, he had ridden on the shoes of some of the massive people. He was just collecting notes and observing. His class had asked about what the Magiclica world was like, but no matter where they searched they could not find a single snippet of decent information regarding the greater world.
Jakey had hopped off the Magiclica's shoe when they started to leave premise the building with the portal back to the Piccolo world was located in. He had tried to catch a ride back inside, but no one was heading in the right direction. So he had wondered back in the relative direction he had come from, but found himself at dusk in a small courtyard with a band playing blasting music that sounded distorted in Jakey's ears and a pedestal with a blinding white glow hovering above it.
The glow intrigued Jakey. He felt like he had heard about something like this from teaching his history classes. So he crossed the cool, grey, smooth mounds that lined the ground and stood below the masoned pedestal.
All of a sudden there was an explosion. Jakey jumped as the Magiclicas started screaming and running inside the building while a new group of large humans burst into the courtyard, immediately cutting off the exits and closing the doors.
"We have the place secured, Ichiro."
"Good. It will do. Now we wait for our decoy to arrive, and all will go to plan."
Jakey craned his neck to look at the two people towering above him. He had NO idea what they were talking about, but he knew he was in trouble.
I'm so done for! Why did I choose to do this?!
Jakey was pressing himself against the stone brick, trying to make himself even smaller if that were possible in this world.
One of the Magiclicas looked at the light on the pedestal.
"Finally. Soon the White Stone will be mine."
Jakey's heart froze.
The WHITE STONE?!
Even he knew what the White Stone was. It was a source of unimaginable power, what gave Magiclicas their unique abilities and what kept the Piccolos hidden in their own size-appropriate world. When the Magiclicas first got their power, they ordered the non-magics to be separate from the powerful and banished the Piccolos underground because they fit into neither category and could therefore possibly jeopardize their power.
If that's the White Stone up there, then...
Jakey steeled his shaking body and started to climb the rough grout in the stone bricks. The size difference made the fine bumps easy handholds for the small human.
A blue-haired giantess had shown up to the scene now. She seemed smaller than most of the other giants and was dressed like some of the people who had fled inside. Jakey had seen some interesting characteristics in these people, but her aqua hair, even in the twilight shadows, was surprising.
The Piccolo shook the thought of the passive-aggressive confrontation happening around him out of his mind and pulled himself over the edge to the flat platform. The light was blinding if he looked too far up, but if he held up his hand and kept his gaze down, it was tolerable.
A figure approached the pedestal. Jakey gasped and looked up to see a grey-haired girl looking at the Stone, squinting. She held out her hand and black particles bubbled around it. There was a flash, and out of the corner of his eye Jakey saw the other Magiclicas look to the girl. The girl's hair turned from grey to white for some reason, and she slowly sank to her knees on the floor.
"Ichiro, I am not letting you get the White Stone!"
Jakey has scooted away from the grey-now-white-haired-giantess when she fell, but not out of her range of sight. She blinked, her eyes distant, and she slowly reached out with her pointer finger towards Jakey.
"Am I seeing things...? There's a tiny man here. Are you real? Hello, tiny man..." she mumbled.
Jakey screeched as her enormous finger loomed toward him. "Don't crush me! I'm not a good snack, I promise! Just leave me alone!" He scampered back to the center of the pedestal, directly underneath the blinding light.
There was a strange blast, and suddenly a yellow glow was settling next to Jakey. He jumped again, once again WAY too close to being squished. He watched as the yellow aura pulsed and shifted before condensing into a solid shape...
A Magiclica boy.
Jakey stared at the boy. He didn't know what just happened, but something was wrong. Maybe it was the limpness of his arms, or the dullness of his eyes. The blue-haired girl kneeled by his side, whispering pleas. The blonde boy shook his head before he started singing? Jakey was unfamiliar with the song, but the boy's strained voice was worrisome.
Then the boy faded into yellow again. The particles were blocked out by the glow of the Stone, but Jakey had seen enough. As much as he wished it differently, his gut told him that that boy was gone.
"I want to go back now, I want to go home. This was a bad idea, a really bad idea! Oh, I just have to wait this out, but someone just DIED-! huh?"
Jakey spotted something on the ground by him. A tiny glowing white shard, just big enough to fit in his hand. Jakey picked it up and gripped it tightly. He had a hunch he knew what this was, and despite his terror the shard peaked his interest.
The blue-haired girl suddenly blasted a beam of some sort WAY too close to Jakey for comfort! He shrieked as the beam was rebounded and a different green beam hit the man that had first mentioned the White Stone.
"I want to go home!"
The miniature shard in Jakey's hand glowed even brighter. Then it dimmed, and Jakey was... in his apartment?!
The teacher looked at the sliver of crystalline power he held in his hand. He could barely comprehend what had just happened.
What did I just do?
