Fix the Timeline

This is completely not canon but I was talking on the Discord and we came up with a totally absurd theory that Connor is from the future and has gone back in time to prevent Melissa from doing some drastic action that completely messes up the timeline??

It went from laughing at people thinking Jakey is Melissa to what if Connor is like her great-great-great grandchild gone back in time to stop her from trying to bring back Chase was what we decided but maybe not here XD

Connor knew a lot of things no one else did.

He knew the future, basically. He knew what happened in the next five, ten, fifty years. In fact, he knew what happened farther in the future better than what he knew was happening right now in this time. He knew the future not because of his power, but because he was quite literally from it. The things that were happening right now he knew through a textbook while he had heard the things from the future firsthand on the news.

The future sucked, by the way.

It really did. It was a constant war zone— a political apocalypse. The COM had grown paranoid and corrupt after the attempts of stealing the White Stone by the Spero, while the Spero themselves had grown to be their own powerhouse with people, both Magiclica and Cipher, fleeing the COM's tyranny to the dark safe haven to find themselves free of one danger and into the belly of another. The Spero after the first death of their leader had a new man take over, who truly brought the terrifying ideals of the criminal organization to reality.

But the future didn't have to be the constant fear and warfare Connor had grown up with. It wasn't supposed to be that way in the first place.

Connor was the blessing that his time needed. He was the savior to the future. His lineage had always been watched closely, and finally Connor was born as a pure-blooded Magiclica with none other than the power of time manipulation. He was the prefect solution to fix her mistake, he was told. He had grown up always hearing and preparing for his mission that had been decided by the rebels, to go back in time and fix the infamous sin done by Melissa Jane Harmony that everyone knew was the cause of the chaos they lived in. Connor would fix the mistake, erasing his original timeline in the process, and create a better future for everyone and he would continue living his life in the new timeline as if he weren't from the future.

Sounds easy, right?

Connor never expected things to be so difficult living in the past. The emotions that ran through his peers that people in his time seemed to lack, the complex relationships that were more than superior and employee. The friends he had made with the Eversingers Ciphers that were also his childhood friends' ancestors or the massive crush he had developed on the strong-willed lead singer.

He certainly never thought he could become one of the victims of the dark figure's coma spells after helping Kylie prove her innocence. He knew the person's identity from the start but had to make it look like he was figuring it out without outside information. But to be either so good or bad at acting that he made himself a target?

All Connor hoped now was that he was not too late to complete his last task from his family.

The date: September 8, 2025.

Exactly seven years after that fateful night. The night that was the most important event of the Magiclica world in twenty-first century. The night that the first leader of the Spero as well as the innocent Chase Walker were killed at an attempt to steal the White Stone, that the existence of Miscelas were revealed, that a hooded figure was apprehended.

Tonight would have been the next important night in Magiclica history, and not in a good way. Tonight would be the night that Melissa Harmony would attempt to bring back her dead lover by using black magic that she barely knew how to control and instead would release Ichiro Hamura to walk the living realm again. A corrupted undead soul to twist the lives of everyone he encountered and create an army of other previously-dead Magiclica warriors to end the conflict in one finalizing blow. That plan would ultimately fail, of course, but the rift that would be created would tear the world apart.
