so I had a weird thought this morning and I decided to ask it on the Q&A channel of the Magiclicas Discord server

COULD THAT BE EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED TO CHASE?!
Because let's talk about Chase's actions and dialogue in episode 23
He used corpo libero, which basically splits a Magiclica's soul temporarily from their body and uses it as an external power source. If someone's soul is literally destroyed, NO DUH they're going to die
But we never SAW Chase's soul, to keep it simple. We saw his body be hit by Sarah's spell (I don't Latin but I think Jakey said somewhere it translated literally to "begone forever") and yeah his body turned to particles BUT WHERE WAS HIS SOUL SINCE HE USED THE SPELL?!
It doesn't make sense that he'd keep it with him if he was going to do something risky
I think Chase was planning this the entire freaking time.
Because then the song he sang would make sense too! "Know that I'm with you the only way that I can be, until you're in my arms again, remember me." Somewhere I think Ivy said that this was Chase's favorite song (at least someone in a stream said that. I swear I remember more from the streams than the actual episodes sometimes XD) AND FREAKING PLOT RELEVANCE THIS MAKES SENSE.
Other parts of the lullaby from CoCo make sense too, like "Remember me, though I have to travel far"
AND JUST
CHASE EXCUSE ME I THINK "DEATH" IS PRETTY FAR
This would also make sense why in the particle scene, a beam of yellow started to form and not blue. Because if there were going to be a Chasiro fusion thing, personally I think that Ichiro would have more influence because overall he's much more ambitious and self-preserving and all that than Chase. I'm fairly sure I've gone into my confliction with the Chasiro fusion theory somewhere even though that's my original thought when I saw the clip. Maybe that's just me in my head though...
But if Chase had used corpo libero and his soul was still intact and Ichiro hadn't used the spell (or maybe he did a long time ago so some of the power has been used up, making Chase's overall stronger) so that while Chase was resurrected, Ichiro's remains were sort of incorporated into the new being
That doesn't at all sound kinda strange but that's kinda what would theoretically happen??
I'm not saying having some of Ichiro in Chase couldn't significantly affect his character (I think that's exactly what's going to happen) But Ichiro's confirmed to not be seen nor heard again in the show. Chase as a significant main character is probably coming back and is going to become a big focus on the plot once more, maybe as the antagonist??
That's a little bit of a stretch, but it's still completely possible.
SO YEAH
I THINK I JUST SOMEHOW MANAGED TO EXPLAIN ONE OF THE MULTIPLE BIG CLIFFHANGERS OF THE FINALE
NOW I JUST NEED TO REWATCH THE ENTIRE SERIES AND GATHER ALL THE EVIDENCE I CAN THAT SARAH IS THE HOODED FIGURE BECAUSE IM CONVINCED IT'S HER STILL AND THERE'S SO MUCH HINTING IT'S UNREAL ok this is a little biased and people are probably going to call me out on the fact that Kaya was revealed to be it but...
I'll probably be making a part two on that theory later (since I did one before)
