What if Kai is somehow like Kagae/LuLu with having the split personality/mind thing, or maybe he's a fusion like Reborn Chase or smth and that glass is revealing the fact that there's two versions of him, one with black hair and one with red hair? Maybe the glass is acting like a prism and splitting all the colors to make a rainbow but instead it's alternate versions of Kai
And that's why his hair is ridiculously hard to understand how it works to draw, because it's not natural because he's a fricken fusion but doesn't realize it XD

That, my friends, is a white-haired Kai.
Kai is the ONLY (well, non-bearded at least) skin that has his eyes two pixels up from the bottom. All the others have only one and the dudes with facial hair have them much higher up and are squinty like Erobus and Glenn. Also the bangs are the same gradient as Kai's just in white XD
NOT ONLY THAT, but I know that there is a purple-haired Kai somewhere in the musical specials, although I can't find him for the life of me DX But I've been told about it from multiple sources so he's in there, I'm just blind and can't be bothered to watch the hour long special again XD
So either secretly someone is cloning Kai and scattering him around Everston, or Kai does indeed have alternate versions of himself that under certain circumstances are revealed to the outside world. Highkey think the White Stone has something to do with this.
