Getting away from cringy advertiser talk, if you're into this sort of thing I actually highly suggest applying. It's a lot of fun and Kole is a great guy and knows what he's doing. I participated in the first round of students (this is the second application) and it's definitely worth trying out. I'd always wanted to try HD skins, but was intimidated by it? And this showed me how to step out of my comfort zone and experiment and I learned that if you try, it's really not so hard. Kole also says that this second course is going to be taught much differently, so I'm sure it's going to be even better than the first time!
