Life has a funny way of creeping up on you.
One day, you're on top of the world.
The next day, you have fallen from grace.
"Due to the explosion of his hotel scandal, the producers have decided to pull Hu Yitian from the drama."
I feel my whole world crashing.
"Pull out? But we've already shot almost half of the drama."
How can this be? We were doing so great.
"All the scenes that we've shot without him, we can still use that."
At least that'll ease some of the burden.
"But the ones with him, we need to cut."
Oh, god.
"Even the cave scene?"
Please say no.
"Even the cave scene."
This is not happening. I feel my body weakening as I slump on the seat. Beside me, Xiao Tong reaches for my hand.
Most of the scenes that I've shot are with him.
That means most of my scenes will be cut.
"When will we re-shoot?"
I feel all energy being drained out of me.
"No definite date yet. We're on indefinite hiatus..."

I can't contain my smile as we start to pack up our things. The drama I'm shooting, Martial Universe, will take a break after months of intense shooting. That means I can now prepare for my upcoming birthday concert.
