"Oh, that one looks like it!" Jack says, pointing to the screen.
"Yeah, that's good. How do we get it in time?" I ask.
"Postmates, duh. We live in LA." Jack answers.
"Oh right, what was I thinking?" I respond sarcastically. I hand my laptop to him and he orders the case on postmates for me.
Jack and I are currently sitting in the couch at 1 am, looking for a phone case identical to mine. Why, you ask?
You'll see.
"You won't flip it over the water." Jonah challenges, holding his phone up to record Daniel. I look to Jack and smirk. "Uh, ya darn did it!" Daniel had successfully flipped his phone over the side of the pier.
"Oh, can I try!" I shout over to them. They turn and Daniel smiles.
"I don't know if you have the skills that I do." Daniel says, imitating a Hair flip.
"Oh, please. Just watch." I smirk and go over to the pier, holding up my 'phone.'
"Okay, Max is gonna try to flip her phone over the water." I smile and nod as Jonah starts to film.
"Alright." I say and flip the phone a bit higher than Daniel did. I drop the phone and watch as it falls to the water.
"Oh my-" Jonah starts but cuts himself off, putting a hand over his mouth. My jaw drops and I look over.
"No-" I say in disbelief.
"Max, you just dropped your phone!" Daniel says running over to the edge, looking over.
"Yeah, I had no clue!" I look over and hear the boys laughing slightly. I turn back and put a hand to my face. To the guys, it looks like I'm embarrassed but I'm just trying to hide my laughter.
"Max!" Zach yells, grabbing his hair. The boys are all looking over the ledge when a buzz comes from my pocket. I take out my phone and slide the answer button.
"Hello?" I say.
"Hey Max!" Jack says. I look over to him and he's on his phone on the other side of the boys. "Do you think they bought it?" By now, all of the other boys were looking between the two of us.
"I think so." I smile and Jack walks over to me.
"I'll talk to you later. I think we're about to be murdered." He smiles and we both hang up, looking at the guys. Daniel quickly glances to the water and I burst out laughing.
"How did you-" he pauses and runs his hand through his hair. "But you just-" Daniel motions to the water and turns away from us. Jack and I are practically rolling on the ground laughing as they stare at us in confusion and disbelief.
"You guys are mean." Zach pouts and crosses his arms, only causing our laughing fit to get worse.
"This was the best idea you've ever had." I high five Jack once we settled down.
"How did you do that?" Corbyn asked, looking over the ledge again.
"I found a broken phone in the street one day and we found a case that looked like Max's to put on it." Jack answered while still smiling like an idiot.
"Yeah, we're sick of your dumb phone flippy thing!" I yell, looking at Daniel. He smiles shyly and holds his hands up in defeat. I watch Zach and Corbyn as they still frown.
"What's up with you two?" I ask.
"Why weren't we included?" Zach says sadly and Corbyn frowns before pretending to cry. I laugh and walk over to him.
"Aww, I'm sorry bean." I say in a baby voice and give him a hug. He hugs back and I hold back a laugh as he fake sniffles into my neck.
I hear a click and we pull away to see Daniel holding up his phone.
"You didn't." I say, looking at him.
"Payback."He says with an evil smirk.
"Daniel!" I run toward him and he starts to run away.
I swear these boys will be the death of me.
