The next morning I felt like I had been hit by a ton of bricks as I rolled out from underneath my blanket fortress. I let out a yawn and slowly marched my way down the stairs to get something to eat. As I entered the kitchen I noticed that Bella was no where to be found. Charlie wouldn't be much help on trying to find her for he was still fast asleep on this Sunday morning. I just shrugged my shoulders and proceeded to pull out my phone. Dialing Jake's number after not speaking to him until yesterday felt weird, and yet also calming. I had needed my space and time to think after all that had happened.
Jake's phone just kept on ringing and ringing and after a few short mintues I decided just to take my chances and drive over there.
I raced upstairs and threw on a pair of old jeans, a gray tee and an orange flannel and dashed out the door to my truck.
Pulling into the Black's driveway I was greeted by a two tan boys who looked an awful lot like Jacob. I knew right away that were part of Sam's little pack. It was pretty obvious. From the barely clothes bodies to the short spiky black hair there was no denying it. Pulling my hair into a messy side braid I kicked open my door and jumped out of my car. The two guys looked at each other smiled then turned their line of sight back at me. I raised an eyebrow at them both just as I could see Jacob exiting his rustic looking house. His eyes meant mine and instantly his face lite up. He smiled and jogged his way over to me. As he came closer he bent closer to the ground and pulled me into his arms and twirled me around my truck. I couldn't help but burst out laughing. Good old Jake. Always there to make you laugh while making a fool of himself.
"Jake stop". I giggled as he sat me down a few mintues later. He continued to smile as he pulled me into a more comforting embrace. Jake's warmth that came with him being a werewolf was something I missed loads. He was like a big warm pillow that would so come in handy in the winter.
"I've missed you". Jake said kissing me. I kissed him back as he interlaced his hand around my waist.
"Missed you too, Jake". I said with a smile. "But I think your friends are watching us". Jake stopped kissing me and looked up to the two guys just standing their smirking at us. I blushed a deep shade of red as Jake rolled his eyes.
"Haha..yeah". Jake said as the tallest of the guys rolled his eyes and extended his hand to me.
"I'm Quill, and this is Embry". I smiled and took his hand.
"It's nice to you meet you guys. I'm guessing you are a part of Sam's little group?" Both of them chuckled and nodded their heads.
"You got it".
"Well then it's nice to finally meet other pack members".
"And it's about time we got to meet Jacob's girl. He never shuts up about you, Alex". Embry joked. I smirked and gazed up at Jake who was just rolling his eyes at his fellow pack members.
"Oh really?'
A laugh escaped Quill's mouth.
"Embry's right. Jake can not stop talking about you. Sometimes I just wanted to knock him out so I can get some peace and quiet".
"When will Alex call? Should I call Alex? Should I not call Alex?
Oh my gosh Jake. I smiled looking up at my boyfriend. He really was a paranoid guy. I laughed at Quill and Embry's jokes and then I leaned forward and planted a kiss on Jake's cheek. Jake smiled back and stepped forward to his friends then grabbed Quill and put him in a headlock.
"Okay I think that's enough out of you buddy". Quill moved his arms around trying to get free of Jake's grip but it wasn't until Jake let go that he was free. Quill smirked at Jake while slowly backing away.
"It was meeting the infamous Alex Swan". Embry said.
"It was nice to meet you guys too. See ya around". I waved to both of them as they walked off from us.
Turning my attention back to Jake I followed him into his dad's old car garage. It had been months since I had last been in here and nothing really seemed to have changed except for the nearly built motorcycle sitting in the center of the room. When they hell had Jake done this? It was nearly finished and I clearly remembered that he hadn't even started when I last visited. Walking over to the cycle I noticed that sitting next to it on the table was a bracelet with a wolf pendent on the chain.
"Oh crap you weren't supposed to see that". Jake replied as I held up the chain. He rushed over to where I was standing and pulled the piece of jewelry from my grip.
    "It's beautiful, Jake".
He smiled gazing at wolf carved out of wood.
"I made this for you. As a graduation gift". Jake said glancing at me. He made this for me? Aw Jacob. This wasn't the sweetest gift that I had ever been given. "But after how I lied to you about Bella I wasn't sure if I would get the chance to give it to you".
I sighed and looked down at my feet. whether I did the right thing or not about giving us time to think about what happened I knew in my heart that I needed my space. So much had been thrown at me that I had just needed some time and space to process all of it.
I knew in doing so I upset Jake and that deeply hurt me to have to ignore him, but every relationship has their struggles and this seemed to be ours. I was just grateful that we were now back together and working this out.
"Well you can now". I replied leaning my head on his shoulder. "I know you do not like the Cullen's, but Alice is throwing a graduation party and I want you to come".
"If you'll be there then so will I. Although I don't think Bella's bloodsucker will be so happy to see me". Jake stated firm as I placed my hand on his chest.
"This isn't about what Ed wants. I want you there and that's all that matters". I said as he leaned in to kiss my forehead.
"If you want me there then I will be there no matter what".
"Good and besides Alice said that I could invite you". I added.
"How generous of her".
Nugding Jake's arm I adjusted the hair sticking in front of my face.
"This is also my way of saying you better show up to our graduation". I ordered him. Jake smirked that perfect face of his and pulled me into his arms.
"I wouldn't miss it. Maybe I'll even wear a suit for the occasion". I rolled my eyes.
"As much as I'd love that I think you should leave the dressing up to me". I said making Jake laugh.
"I think that's a better plan anyway".
