Cody jumped down from the cliff just above us. He was breathing heavy and looked tired out. He stumbled towards us before nearly crumbling to the ground. I reached out and helped to steady him. He looked up and sighed.
"She picked up Bella's scent. They both did". Shit, shit. Shit. I torn my gaze from him to Edward who knew instantly what was coming out way. Victoria. She had seen right through the plan and she was coming here. I couldn't believe this. All this time I was deeply worried about her hurting Jake and really it was me who was now in danger.
If she had already picked up both of our scents then it was too late for us to leave. Once a vampire had locked onto your scent you were good as dead. There was no way that me or Bella could get out of here. No time either. All we could now was hope that Edward and Cody would be enough to stop them. As they were all that we had to keep us safe. And I knew damn well that they would before die before letting anything happen to us. As seconds passed Edward nodded to Cody to hid in the trees for an attack as he pulled me and Bella behind him. Bella gripped my hands every so tightly and I gripped hers
"Riley don't do this. She's only using you". As Edward turned his attention to the male figure stepping out of the shadows of the trees I coildnt stop the gasp coming from my throat. It was him. Riley Biers. The missing teen. So it was true. He was behind this. Dammit.
"Listen to me, Victoria is only using you to distract me. She knows ill kill you". My gazed was fixed on Riley until another figure jumped down from the trees. Her long wavy red hair and beating red eyes made her noticeable within seconds. I felt my breath grow cold and slow. My body was reacting to her overwhelming prensene. Victoria. She was here. Just a few feet away from us. Looking into her eyes I noticed that she was staring dead right to Bella. And all of us knew why.
"Don't listen to him Riley". Her voice so soft yet devlish.
Bella's grip on me tighten as I tightened mine. All us stood firm. Barley moving an inch as the anxiety and tension grew in the air around us.
"I can read her mind, Riley so I know what she thinks of you". Edward fired back.
"He's lying". She snapped softly.
"She only built you and this army to avenge her love, her true mate, James". Edwards stated. Riley's black eyes seemed to change ever so slightly as he slowing moved his head to look up At Victoria. She, putting on that perfect mask like Edward had said, looked at him so innocently.
"There's only ever been you, Riley. You know that". Whether Riley was buying it or not I couldn't tell. He was keeping himself quite composed.
"Riley think about it". Edward stated with more firmness. "You are from Forks. You know the area, why else would she chose you".
"You know I love you Riley, don't you". As I glanced to Riley his throat muscles began to thrust out and his teeth soon grew clenched. This back and forth was pissing him off and he did not want to be reasoned with. He was nearly going to snap and I as badly as I wanted to run, I couldn't. He'd be on me within seconds. Ripping me limb from limb. Taking my blood for his own desires.
Looking back Edward he was gearing up. Ready to jump on Riley if given the chance.
"Your dead".

I had to split the fight into two chapters cause otherwise it was too long.
