All of Asgard was mourning the loss of their princess, believing her to be dead when the search was called off. Thor was miserable which only added to the atmosphere of misery that was floating around Asgard as the days went by. The people of Asgard began to rebel and curse Odin's name because he was the reason why their princess left. Frigga was more irritated than usual and took her irritation out on her husband and moved to the other side of the castle not wanting to be near him. Down in the dungeons Loki became silent and distant, with Luna not being there to visit him Loki saw no need to talk and be his usual self. The guards took it as him being depressed and they weren't wrong, he was depressed but not for the reasons they were thinking of. Loki was depressed because without Luna there he had no one to talk to who truly understood him. In fact all of Asgard was not only miserable they were depressed as well, life for them was not the same without Luna there. As the days without Luna on Asgard grew in numbers the more problems began to arise. Odin's name was mud to all of Asgard, the warriors three were slacking in their skills without Luna to push them to their limits. Thor barely left his room and when he did he never talked to anyone but his friends and his mother. Sif was the most depressed, without her best friend around Sif couldn't do anything without bursting into tears.

Odin was beginning to see the consequences of his actions but it was to late to apologize. The damage had been done and no amount of apologies would be able to fix everything. Frigga rarely ever spoke to Odin and whenever she did speak to him it was always about king and queen business. Each day Odin would go to Himedal and ask if he had seen any sign of Luna, hoping that he could gain some forgiveness by finding Luna. Each day the answer was always the same though, that Himedal could not see Luna.

Slowly the number of days changed to a number of weeks and Odin's hope for gaining forgiveness was slowly slipping away. Elsewhere on Asgard Thor is staring outside as he stands on his balcony watching sorcerers lower the sun and raise the moon. It felt, wrong for anyone but Luna the goddess of moon and night to be raising the moon but they had no choice. The sorcerers had voiced their thoughts on the situation but Odin would not take no for an answer. Without Luna there the sorcerers had to lower and raise the sun and moon. They felt that it was an insult to Luna for it was her job and her's alone to raise and lower the sun and moon each day. Down in the dungeons the other prisoners feared to even make a sound. If they did Loki would snap at them, having grown agitated at the fact that he had not heard a word about his sister.

The guards had begun to fear getting snapped at as well for they got snapped at the most.  After getting snapped at numerous times the guards enlisted the help of Figga. She was the only person who Loki never snapped at due to her being his mother.  When asked what was wrong Loki always said he didn't like how he was not informed about his sisters whereabouts. But that was a lie because Loki already knew where Luna was, he just wished he could go find her. For all they know she could be hurt or in the hands of the enemy. Frigga knew he was lying whenever Loki answered the question but she never told him that she knew. She would simply nod and say that she didn't like not being informed either.

In all reality the only person the most information on the situation was Odin but he would never tell them the full story. He had to much pride to admit he was wrong out loud to anyone, not even to Frigga. Odin would not dare admit that he was wrong to Thor either for he already seemed to hate Odin enough. There was no way his son would be able to forgive him ever again.

So on the tenth week of Luna being gone Odin walked out onto his balcony and looks at the moon and stars. The stars were fuller than usual meaning that even though the sorcerers were doing the process right they didn't put everything into it like Luna did. With a sigh Odin looks up at the moon with a solemn look on his face.

"Luna wherever you are, I am sorry, and I was wrong" Odin says to the moon as if it would relay his message to his daughter.

Just below the balcony in the gardens sat Frigga who heard Odins apology to Luna and smiles thinking Odin has seen the wrongs in his actions. Standing up Frigga walks into the palace believing that with Luna gone that everyone has changed in both good and bad ways. Elsewhere Thor sits in his room praying to his ancestors to protect Luna. He knew that the praying was not needed and that his sister could take care of herself. It just made him feel better to know that his prayers might be answered and that someone would watch over Luna. Thor also knew that if Luna was with Steve then she would be safe because Steve would never let anything happen to her. At least Thor hoped that Steve wouldn't let anything bad happen to his sister. Thor hadn't known Steve long enough to be able to tell what his true intentions were.  Sighing to himself Thor glances outside to look at the moon for a minute before going to bed. He knew that Luna would not want him to exhaust himself by worrying about her.

He could just imagine his sister scolding him in his head which brings a sad smile to his face as he fell asleep. Down in the dungeons around the same time Thor got into bed Loki got into bed as well. Loki stares at the ceiling of his cell as he thinks about what his sister said the day before she ran away. She knew something would happen and she was not writing no about her prediction. Luna had always been able to tell if something bad was going to happen ever since she got ability's. It was mainly one of the reasons why Thor dragged her along with him to battles along with the fact that she was stronger than any Asgardian. That thought brings a bittersweet smile to Loki's face as he remembers how Thor, Luna, and him were very close. Loki sighs as he closes his eyes knowing that they grew apart many years ago. The last thought in Loki's mind before he fell asleep was that he hoped he could mend his bond with Thor and Luna one day.
