Y/n's POV

"Mmm," I groan as I opened my eyes, and a bright light hit them. My head was pounding, my vision was swimming, and my whole body ached.

"Hey," Stiles murmured and knelt down in front of me. "You okay?"

"No. My head feels like it's about to explode and my limbs all ache," I share and rub at my eyes. It was then that I realized we were in a basement. "Where are we? W-what happened?"

"Gerard and some of his hunters snagged us during the lacrosse game," Stiles answered. "We're currently in the Argent's basement. You don't remember that?"

"Everything's a little fuzzy right now," I confess. "And God, my head."

"Yeah. Gerard injected you with wolfsbane," Stiles disclosed. "That's why you're feeling that way."

"You're face," I notice when I saw that Stiles had a bruised cheek and a bloody lip. "Who did that to you?"

"Gerard," Stiles replied. "Turns out he still has a pretty mean punch. Now come on. We've gotta get out of here." At that moment, I spotted Erica and Boyd tied up, their hands bound with an electrical wire. Their mouths were also covered in duck tape, and it looked like both of them were in pain.

"W-what are they doing here?" I stammer as Stiles helped me off the floor.

"The Argents are trying to use them to find Derek, but they're not budging," Stiles explained.

"Well we have to get them out of here," I state. "Help me untie them."

"Y/n stop," Stiles instructed and held me back. "You're weak, okay? You can barely stand. How do you think you're gonna get them out of here? One touch to that wire and you might die because you don't have your strength. Look, we can come back for them, okay? But right now, we have to go."

"Okay. Erica, Boyd, we're gonna come back for you guys. I promise," I pledge as Stiles helped me up the stairs.

.................................................

"You sure you don't want me to drive you home, Y/n?" Sheriff Stilinski asked me.

"No thank you. I just want to stay here for a while," I admit. "No one is at my house anyways, and uh, I consider you guys my second family, so I'd feel better if I was here. I hope you don't mind."

"I don't mind at all. You're apart of the family, Y/n. If you need anything, either of you, just call. I'll be downstairs," Sheriff Stilinski notified Stiles and I before leaving the room.

"I think I just want to collapse in bed and die," I grumble and fall onto Stiles' bed.

"Wow. So you stole my clothes and now my bed too? What a friend," Stiles joked and plopped down into his desk chair.

"Hey, the only thing I'm wearing that's yours is this sweatshirt, okay? These are my jeans and shoes that I keep over here in case of emergency," I remind him.

"Yeah yeah yeah," Stiles murmured.

"So, are you gonna tell me what happened at the lacrosse game?" I implore.

Stiles furrowed my eyebrows. "What are you talking about?"

"You know. How you just happened to be really good so suddenly like that. Don't tell me you're a werewolf now too," I tease.

"Please," Stiles scoffed. "I've seen all the trouble you all get into, and I don't want any part of that. I'm fine being a human."

"Speaking of the devil," I joke and hold up my phone where Scott had sent me a text. "Scott needs our help, and to do that, we're going to need Lydia."

After picking Lydia up from her house, the three of us drove to the location Scott had texted us. As soon as he entered the abandoned warehouse, I spotted the Kanima, or Jackson, which was weird seeing as he was supposed to be dead. I was more confused then ever, but I ignored my confusion and focused on the task at hand.

"Stiles, do me a favor and slam right into him," I request. Stiles followed my orders and stepped on the gas, speeding right into the Kanima. Right after we hit him, Stiles pressed down hard on the breaks, causing the jeep to come to a stop.

"Did I get him?" Stiles questioned. His question was answered when the Kanima jumped onto the hood of the Jeep. I let out a yelp and scrambled out of the vehicle, Stiles right behind me. The two of us ran over to Scott, but Lydia stood her ground and faced the Kanima. Cautiously, she held out a key, and I watched as the Kanima morphed back into Jackson. However, out of nowhere, Peter emerged from the shadows. I didn't know how he was alive, so I told myself to ask Scott later. I then watched as Derek and Peter stabbed Jackson with their claws, but instead of dying, his eyes turned bright blue, and he howled at the sky. Jackson was no longer the Kanima, and instead he was a werewolf.

"Hey," Scott greeted and gave me a hug. "You okay? Stiles called and told me what happened. I'm so sorry."

"What are you sorry for?" I inquire.

"Gerard kidnapped you to get to me," Scott noted. "It's all my fault that you guys got hurt."

"Scott, I'm fine," I assure him. "Sure, I'm still a little weak, but I'll be okay. And with time, Stiles' face will heal. Don't beat yourself up about it, okay?"

Scott nodded. "Okay. You ready to get out of here?"

"Yes. Lets go," I say.

"Wait," Isaac interjected. "Y/n, can we talk for a second?"

"I'll meet you outside," I tell Scott before walking a bit away with Isaac. "What's up?"

"We never got to talk about what happened at the lacrosse game," Isaac remembered. "I just want to know if-"

As soon as Scott and Stiles were out of sight, I cut Isaac off by leaning up and pressing my lips to his. I could feel Isaac smile against my mouth, his hands moving to wrap around my waist as I cupped his cheeks in my hands. With our bodies pressed chest to chest, I could hear Isaac's heart rate speed up, and I'm assuming he heard mine pick up the pace as well. For a few seconds, the two of us were lost in each other, but we soon pulled away.

"I like you a lot, Isaac," I reveal. "Like, more than I ever thought I would."

"I like you a lot too," Isaac returned. "Maybe I could take you on a date sometime?"

"Tomorrow night, 7o'clock, my house. I'll convince my mom to let me borrow her car, and you pick the place. Don't be late," I lecture and give him a small smile before heading outside and joining my brother in the backseat of the Jeep. The next afternoon, Scott, Stiles, and I drove down to the lacrosse field because Stiles wanted to get in some practice before next season. Scott agreed to be goalie while I would be telling Stiles how to perfect his game.

"Hey, you know what I just realized? I'm right back where I started," Scott registered.

"What do you mean?" I ask.

"I mean no lacrosse, no popularity, no girlfriend," Scott listed off.

"Dude, you still got me," Stiles reminded him.

"And me," I add.

"I had you guys before," Scott said.

"Yeah, and you still have us. It's a life fulfilled. Now remember, no wolf powers. I mean it," Stiles insisted and picked up a ball with his lacrosse stick. "No super fast reflexes, no super eyesight, no hearing, none of that crap, okay?"

"Okay. Just take the shot," Scott ordered. Stiles readied himself, and then took a step forwards, using the momentum to launch the ball at the net. Just before the ball could reach Scott, I saw his eyes glow bright yellow, and he moved his stick, catching the ball in the net.

"I said no wolf powers!" Stiles shouted.

"Oh this is gonna be so much fun," I chirp.
