Y/n's POV

"Y/n, we have to go," Theo directed and took a hold of my hand.

"What? No," I decline. "The Beast....we have to make sure it doesn't hurt anyone."

"That's not our job," Theo opposed. "Come on."

"Let go," I demand and shake my hand from his. "I'm staying."

"Fine," Theo breathed out. "Suit yourself. I'll see you later."

"Y/n!" Stiles yelled as him and Hayden carried Liam over to me. "We need your help."

"Holy shit!" I curse when I saw Liam's abdomen had been sliced open in many places. "What happened?"

"He tried to face the beast like a dumbass," Stiles shared.

"Like a hero," Hayden corrected. "But now he's not healing, and we don't know what to do."

"Bring him inside," I instruct and help them get Liam inside of the school. We found an empty classroom, and we laid him on top of the teacher's desk. When I saw that he still wasn't healing, I began to worry. "Okay, we need to get him to start healing. But how?"

"Scott did this thing with pain. He could trigger it. Pain makes you human," Stiles rambled.

"He's already in pain," Hayden pointed out.

"Right, okay, but maybe adding a little more could help take away the pain," Stiles suggested.

"Wait, Stiles, that might work. If I can take away a little bit of his pain, that could kickstart the healing process," I explain.

I took Liam's hand in mine and clenched it just enough to let him know that I was there. Then, I focused on Liam, who was writhing in pain in front of me. I focused on his injuries and how hurt he was, and once I did that, I could feel his pain being transferred over to me. My veins turned and angry shade of black, and my eyes glowed as I activated my supernatural side. I took as much of his pain as I could, but eventually, I had to stop.

"Look. He's healing," Hayden pointed out.

"Good. Cause I need a moment," I murmur before stumbling slightly.

"Whoa," Stiles exhaled and steadied me. "Usually I'm the one who passes out with these things. Are you okay?"

"I'll be fine," I assure him. "I think I just took too much of his pain. I um, I'm gonna get going."

"Thank you," Stiles said to be just before I could leave. "I don't know what we would have done without you."

"It was no big deal," I return. "Even though I'm not apart of the pack anymore, I still care a lot for you guys. I know you don't trust me right now but - ugh!"

"Y/n!" Stiles exclaimed and ran to catch me before I could get the ground. "What is it? What's going on?"

"I'm not hurting because I took too much pain from Liam. In fact, I'm not hurting at all. It's Scott," I confess and rub my head, where a headache had begun to form. "We have to find him."

"You are in no shape to fight," Stiles disclosed. "And neither is Liam. What are we supposed to do against the Beast?"

"I don't want to fight the Beast. I want to help Scott," I claim as I struggled to get up.

"Y/n," Hayden started.

"No. Don't agree with Stiles on this one," I grit out as pain rolled over me. "He's my brother. My twin. And even though we're not seeing eye to eye right now, I would never forgive myself if he got hurt and I could have stopped it. I am going to find him. You guys are either with me or you're not."

"I'll go with her," Stiles told Hayden. "You stay back to keep an eye on Liam."

"Come on," I urge and drag Stiles out into the hallway. "We have to hurry."

"Do you have Scott's scent?" Stiles asked.

I shook my head. "No. But I can sense his pain. Maybe that can lead us to him."

"I thought you hated using your necromancy powers," Stiles brought up.

"I do. But I think its about time I learned to use and deal with them," I admit and nod down the hallway. "He's somewhere that way."

"Okay. I believe you," Stiles stated and helped me down the hallway.

"This school reeks of death," I comment as my eyes glowed purple.

"That's not surprising considering the number of bodies that have been found here," Stiles declared.

"We're close," I notify him. "I think he's in the library."

"Yep," Stiles confirmed as a loud roar hit our ears. "I think that was Scott."

"And that one was the Beast," I mention as a second roar, way louder than the first, echoed around the school.

"You sure about this?" Stiles questioned. "You still seem pretty weak."

"I'm okay. All I want right now is to help Scott," I put forth and push open the library doors.

The library was a mess. Books were scattered everywhere on the floor. Tables and chairs had been knocked over. Everything was in a state of disarray. In the center of the library though, Scott was attempting to take on the Beast.

"I'm gonna take cover over here," Stiles asserted and went to go hide behind one of the bookshelves.

"Y/n," Scott muttered when he saw me. "You shouldn't be here."

"I'm here to help," I mutter and hold my hands out in front of me.

I thought back to the time when Scott had been turned into a Berserker. In Mexico, I had managed to summon a concussive force to stop Malia from killing him. If I could do that again, but on a bigger scale, I could get the Beast out of here.

"Y/n, what are you doing?" Scott quizzed as the Beast turned its attention to me. "It'll kill you."

"We're both creatures of death," I reveal. "Besides Parrish, I think I might be its greatest threat. I can do this."

My eyes glowed an even brighter purple than they did before, and I could feel my powers being brought to the surface. The Beast roared at me, but today, the creature didn't scare me like it usually did. Today, I was ready to face it. The Beast lunged at me, and that's when I launched my attack. I summoned everything I had in me, and with one gutteral cry, I shoved my hands out towards the monster. A wave of energy flew out from my palms and slammed into teh Beast, sending him flying out the large window in the library. After a few seconds, when he did not reappear, I knew he had run away. I ran over to Scott and helped him to his feet, noticing that his head was bleeding, and so were his arms.

"You didn't seriously think you were gonna have a chance against that thing, did you?" Stiles implored and reappeared next to us.

"No," Scott panted. "But I got its scent."

"Scott, wait!" I yell and chase after my brother as he ran to the parking lot. "You're hurt. You've gotta slow down."

"This is it," Scott announced and nodded to a car. "Whoever's car this is....they're the Beast."

"The bloody shoes," I remember. "Lets see if they're here."

Using what little strength I had left, I pried the trunk open. There were a pair of gym shoes in there, and when Scott picked one up, we saw that there was blood coating the bottom on the show. So this was the Beast's car. We just had to figure out who it belonged to.

"Scott? Y/n? What are you doing to my car?" Mason inquired.

"It's you," Scott uttered.

Mason frowned. "What? Y/n, what's he talking about?"

Just then, Corey appeared out of nowhere and grabbed a hold of Mason. Seconds later, the two of them disappeared, leaving Scott and I alone in the parking lot.
