Y/n's POV

"Making a murder board, huh? I though that was more Stiles' thing," I put forth and lean against the door frame to Scott's bedroom .

"It can be my thing too," Scott shot back and glanced down at his sleeve where a string had gotten itself tangled around a button. Scott yanked the string to untangle it, but with it, everything connect to string on the board fell down into a heap on the floor. "Okay. Maybe it is Stiles' thing. So, what are you doing here?"

"I still live here," I remind him and hold up my keys. "But I'm about to go on a drive. Want to join?"

"Um, I can't," Scott replied.

"You can't, or you won't?" I question.

Scott hesitated. "Can't. I've got things to do."

"You hesitated," I point out. "Which means you didn't know how to answer my question. I get that neither of us trust each other right now. I understand things are strained between us. But you're still my brother. My twin brother. And yes, I get that you don't like Theo and this new pack of chimeras, but they're not bad people, and they're not trying to do bad things. Look, when you're ready to sit down and talk and work things out, I'll be waiting. Until then, good luck with everything. I heard you and Stiles aren't speaking. Maybe you should start there."

...............................................

"How much did you take, Josh?" Theo asked as we watched him walk out of Sinema.

"A lot," Josh answered. "And I don't feel a thing."

"You won't. Alcohol doesn't work for people like us. Our body heals too fast," I state.

"What is she doing here?" Josh snarled.

"She's here to help," Theo claimed. "So just put your differences aside for two seconds."

"Differences? She killed me," Josh brought up.

"Only because you tried to kill me and Stiles," I argue. "But Theo is right. We need to learn to get along if we want this pack to work out. And I'm hoping that by me helping you out, we can start to tolerate each other."

"How could you possibly help me?" Josh quizzed.

"I'm gonna make you finally feel something," I declare and hold up some jumper cables. "I'm not just a pretty face, you know. My smarts are probably my best trait. Here. Take these."

"These are just jumper cables," Josh spoke.

"Yep. But they're good conductors. That means they can handle electricity, and lots of it. Theo, connect the other end," I instruct.

Theo connected the other two ends of the cables to his truck engine, and once he did, electrictity flowed through the cables. When the electricity got to Josh's hands, I could feel the power in the air. Josh's hands sparked with electricity, and small bursts of lightning flew from them. His eyes glowed bright purple, and he grinned as he took everything in.

"How does that feel?" Theo inquired.

Josh grinned. "Better than everything I've ever felt before."

Later that night, Theo and I were with our pack trying to track the newest monster that had come to Beacon Hills. We didn't know much about it, only that it was big and fast and left behind black shadows that could only be seen with light. We tracked the creature down into the tunnels, where we just so happened to run into Scott and Stiles. Actually, it's more like Tracy and Josh ran into them, and things didn't turn out the way they'd hoped. When we got to the big open room, both Tracy and Josh were on the floor, and Corey was in the corner cowering in fear. Scott's eyes were glowing bright red, and Stiles was on the floor. My guess was that he had been paralyzed by Tracy.

"Sorry guys," I apologize to Scott and Stiles. "They weren't supposed to attack you. Just corner you in here. Obviously they didn't listen."

"They're not the best fighters," Scott observed and clutched at his abdomen.

"You're still hurt," I notice.

"I'm healing," Scott insisted. "Don't worry about me."

"Hey Scott. Stiles," Theo greeted and stepped into the room after me.

"Theo," Stiles grumbled from his spot on the floor.

"You know, you two are going to leave here thinking that you need to worry about me. But you're wrong. We're actually back on the same side. Because that thing...that's what we need to worry about. Your pack and mine. We're gonna go back to school and pretend like we're normal teenagers, but at night, we're going to be fighting for our lives," Theo explained.

"What is it?" Stiles questioned.

"It's not a Chimera," I disclose. "But we don't know exactly what it is, or how to stop it, so we're at a huge disadvantage here."

"But it's just a kid underneath. Someone like us," Scott mentioned.

Theo shook his head. "Not anymore."
