My limbs moved without my say so, eyes focused on the mist in front of us. I could feel my mind beginning to cloud over, loosing more of myself the longer I stayed. That left me only one option. One desperate attempt to get away. I fought myself for control, seeing a dark and smirking figure staring back at me. They pushed, I pushed back. My senses flooded back like a stream, my body jolting at the sudden rush of mixed emotions.I looked over to Sans, seeing the concern that lay behind blackened sockets.

" Kid? " I narrowed my brow, not sure of what I could say to the skeleton. How can you explain something you weren't in control of? It almost seemed impossible but one thing was for sure, the longer we stayed the closer our demise came. I had to act fast, even if the monster disapproved of my methods. I took a firm grip on the horns of the blaster we were stationed on, the weapon growling as I refused to loosen my hold. I turned the horns to the right, almost like I would a bicycle but nowhere near as simple. I took a deep breath, knowing full well that this wasn't a solid plan and that any unnecessary or foolish actions would end up in both of us becoming roadkill. Sans looked on in puzzlement at my actions, trying to keep a stable balance on the skull as it swayed gently back and forth.

" Hold on Sans " I raised my hand above us both, halting for a single moment after feeling the dread that laid like a weight inside me. Was this really a good idea? Keeping my hand up, I looked over to the mist. It was coming closer to us, disembodied smoke hands beginning ti circle us menacingly. My mood shifts, determination replacing fear. In a moment of brief braveness I slam my hand down heavily on the blaster, holding tight as we began to move quickly into the street. We moved faster then the sun's rays, safer the fuhrer we went. I smiled to myself. What was that feeling before? It felt amazing. Was this a change and a start of something new? I looked over to Sans, still smiling. His sockets were filled with fear. I wondered why.
