Because I might or might not be tipsy on expensive red wine and ignoring all of my uni responsibilities...

Enjoy

Dean p.o.v

If Cas hadn't spammed me awake this morning we wouldn't have made it for school or work. It's weird though, Sammy always wakes me up. Hell, Sammy usually wakes me up on his way to or from a work out. I wonder why he's so tired but I'm glad that Cas sent me a morning message. I'm even happier he feels comfortable enough to spam message me...even if it 's at the ungodly time of before 8 am.

Looking at the clock in the garage, I'm surprised it is already 2pm... I should message Cas, finalize the plans for tonight. I hope he likes burgers, I wanna take him to Jo&Ellen's. They have the best burgers in the entire region and they're family.

Me: Heya Cas:) Just wanted to finalize our plans for tonight. I'll pick you up at 7pm. Gabe and Sammy can hang out and get pizza or something.

(Why do I sound like I belong in a chick-flick?)

It's 3:17, why haven't I gotten a response. I know Cas is busy and all but he could just say yes or no...

Me: Hey Cas, just wanted to check if you got my earlier message about 7pm? Let me know.

By 4:23 my impatience is evident as I growl, texting again.

Me: Cas. I need you to answer me bud.

After closing up the garage for the day, I head over to the highschool to pick Sammy (and most likely Gabe). It's almost 5pm when the two boys climb into Baby.

"Hey guys" I grumble, vaguely aware that Sammy is sitting in the back instead of his usual front passenger seat. I lose track of time and of the conversation happening behind me as I drive us home, thoughts of Cas occupying my mind.

Suddenly someone's hitting me over the head.

"What the hell dude!" I say, squatting the hand away. Turning around in my seat I see it was Gabe who hit me. A smirk on his face as Sammy continues talking.

"As I was saying. Dean, you completely zoned out on us dude. I was asking if Gabe could come over to our place for a while? There's no one at his house...and we could ordre pizza or something?" Sammy asks, a light blush visible on his cheeks. Way to go Sammy.

"Uhm, sure Sammy" I say, glancing at the two boys in my rearview mirror and smiling. Sammy seems to be happy with this midget of a man.

"Why is your house empty Gabe?" I ask, trying to mask my curiosity with non-chalantness and fail hopelessly as Gabe smirks.

Removing the blue lolly from his mouth, shrugging, Gabe responds: "Normally Cassie ends work at about 4 but he mentioned something about a big deal or something along those lines recentlt so he'll end at probably end at about 6." That could explain why he hasn't answered me. The nerd is working overtime. Probably to impress some bigshot. I smile at the thought as I drive home, the boys engrossed in their conversation about something called GOT.

"I'm not cooking for you tonight. You had better get pizza or something for supper AND PIE!" I say as we enter the house a few moments later, as they disappear somewhere in the house. Sammy's probably getting more action than I am at the moment. Grabbing a beer I head to the lounge. Might as well watch something till Cas ends work...Flopping in to the couch, I open my phone to send Cas an update.

Me: Hey Cas. Gabe told me you're working late. He's at our place so make a turn after work okay?

It is now 8:37. Cas should have been here by now. He is more than 2 hours late. Did something happen to him? Shit, he's new, it's late and he's a a handsome son-of-a-bitch. A lotta things could've happened.

Grabbing my jacket and texting Cas again, "Sammy, Gabe!" I shout. I'm going to check on Cas. The boys come into the foyer, Sammy confused and Gabe on the phone.

Me: We're coming to get you
I message Cas, waiting impatiently for Gabe to finish his damn call.

Gabriel (on the phone): Woah Cassie. What's gotten into you...or should I rather ask who?

What the fuck! What happened to Cas? I look at Sammy, a question on my face. He just shrugs

Cas responds but I can't hear what he says. Gabe looks annoyed and...dissapointed.

Gabriel: Dude, but why. You've been there for like 2 days!

Crap! something went wrong! I start putting my leather jacket on, looking for the keys to Baby.

Gabriel: Okay, whatever you say Cassie. I'll see what I can find for you...

"Come on guys. We going to look for Cas." I say gruffly.

Pouting, Gabriel leans against the wall. "Why?"

I turn: "What do you mean? There's obviously something wrong." I say, glaring at the younger Novak.

Smirking he responds, "Getting all flustered worrying about your boyfriend?"

"He isn't my boyfriend you idjit. Not yet anyway, and he'll never be if we don't go and get him right now." I growl, a bitchface plastered on my face.

"He is stuck at work. Not coming home tonight. He just called to ask me to bring him some clothes." Gabe shrugs but his shoulders tense.

Sammy finally speaks up: "Dean, calm down. We can always go and take some food and stuff. Perhaps even help him. I have business and accounting and I'm sure we could all help a little bit. I'm gonna go get my laptop."  Sammy turns and heads back down the passage.

(Fast forward)

D&A is creepy this late at night. It's huge, forboding and the only security guard is snoring with headphones on. Useless ass. We walk over to the board on the far end of the foyer, our footsteps echoing. I scan the board, searching for Cas's name. Level 6, office 9.

"Come on guys, Level six, office nine" I say, heading to the elevators.

Laughing, both boys follow me."Six-ty,nine Samsquash. I think we should let Dean-o here go alone."

"Shut-up Gabe. We are ALL going to help Cas." Sam says, averting eye contact by looking at the different number's lights changing, indicating our elevation.

Ping

The doors open and we walk down the hall towards the one door with a sliver of light seen at the bottom of it.

Gabe opens the door wide, "Hello big brother! I came bearing food, clothing, help and Dean-o!" he says dramatically, taking a bow.

Cas is at his desk, his dark hair more of a mess than usual. Pale face with weary eyes. His shirt is crinkled, tie loose and his top buttons open.Poor Cas, he looks exhausted. Sexy as fuck, but exhausted.  There's papers on every possible available surface: his desk, couch, on the floor. His cabinets are open, files sticking out of it.

He looks up, directly at me, ignoring his brother. Even exhausted his eyes look like bottomless oceans.

"Hey Cas." I say, an easy smile on my face. My shoulders relax at the sight of him. At knowing he's safe.

He tilts his head to the side, a quizzicle look on his face, "Hello Dean. What are you doing here?"

I chuckle, "Gabe said you pulling an all nighter so we thought we'd bring you some food." I say, sheepishly as I hold up two large boxes of pizza.

Stepping infront of me, Sammy says, "Hey Cas. I thought we could perhaps help you out a bit. I have Marketing and Accounting and Dean is really smart too, even if it doesn't look it." he says, before moving towards an outlet for his laptop. I scowl. Thanks Sammy, now he probably thinks I'm stupid or a delinquent.

"I'll help where I can. I don't know how much help I'll be though..." I say, shrugging.

Car breaks into a smile and it looks like the sun coming out from behind the clouds. "Thank you guys. It really means a lot to me."
