I am aware that it's not this update doesn't follow my usual schedule but it's 2am and I can't sleep. Enjoy :)

Dean p.o.v

(1:34 pm)

Damnit, I'm starving but I shouldn't have been so damn late for work. Stupid Castiel with his honey and musk smell. With his stupid beltbuckle and his stupid sexy sleep voice. Stupid body who decided to dream about nothing but Cas and that bed of his all night. Stupid alarm that didn't go off. Stupid idjits who came in today with stupid insurance claims and need me to look through all Bobby's shitty paperwork.

Knock-knock

I look up and it's Benny.

"What's up Benny?" I ask, rubbing my face. Grateful for a reason to look away from the paper tornado that is Bobby's desk.

"Hey pal. There is someone here who has a delivery for you," Benny says, a twinkle in his eye. Please God, if you exist, let it be pie or Bobby.

"Sure Benny. Let them in." I say, preparing myself for our usual delivery guy. Instead I'm greeted by a very sexily messy Cas. His tie missing, top shirt button undone, signiture trenchcoat on and an air of...apple pie and coffee.

He sheepily stands by the doorway, "Hello Dean. I brought you some refreshments to thank you for last night" Cas blushes slightly, I wonder if he remembers what he asked me? He was pretty out of it when it happened.

An easy smile forms on my face. "You brought pie, coffee and your sweet face. Couldn't be better angel." Castiel blushes harder.

"Well, Imma leave y'all two boys in peace. Why don't ya take the afternoon Dean. You've been less help than an Brithish fat lady in a Alabama summer." Benny says, smiling as he turns around and leaves. Crap, I forgot he was there. I'm never gonna hear the end of this.

"Well if you guys didn't help me last night, I would not have been able to bring these to you." Cas says, stepping into the office and placing the refreshments on the cabinet. "So ultimately it is my fault that you are tired and hungry." he finishes, looking down at his shoes. I walk around to stand infront of him, lifiting his chin to look me in the eyes.

"Hey. If me and the others didn't want to help, we wouldn't have. But we gotta help where we can." I bend down and place a gentle kiss on his rough lips. I can feel him smile. Breaking away, I continue, "Besides, I got to hang out with you, even if it was just to be the pitch guinia pig".

Neither one of us says anything for a while. We just stare at each other before Cas finally breaks the moment.

"I guess Charlie was right?" Cas says, smiling softly.  Damn, I could get used to that smile.

"Right about what?" I say, turning around and grabbing the pie.

"That you do have genuine feelings for me." I freeze to stare the man with the oceans for eyes in the face.

Cas blushes under the stare, gradually becoming more awkward and progressively more uncomfortable as I continue to say nothing. Shit. What do I feel? Crap. I do feel something for this man infront of him. I don't know how to describe it. I want to feel his heartbeat and compare it to mine. I want to wake up on a Sunday morning with him, in our bed, in our home. I want to have that little girl from my dream come in and climb inbetween us. I want us. Forever.

"Castiel..." I lose my voice. How do I tell him all of this without scaring him.

There are tears filling his eyes and I can see the effort he is putting in to keep it together. My hand moves of its own accord to my neck. Cas starts to back out of the little office.

"I-I'm sorry.  I should n-never have said anything. I'll g-get going n-now."

I reach out to grab his arm. "Cas- Castiel. I'm not good at the whole emotions thing alright. You just caught me off guard, that's all." We stand with me holding onto his arm for a moment. Cas refusing to look at me, so I wait. Finally he looks at me, hurt making his usually bright eyes opaque.

Pulling him into a hug, I wrap my arms around the man I am falling inlove with. I do this to hide his hurt eyes from burning into my soul and to get some courage to say the things that's on my mind. "Yeah Cas. I do have genuine feelings for you. I just...need you to be patient with me. I have a hard time showing real...intimacy." Yeah, especially since the last woman I truly loved died on me and Sammy. "But I want to...and I want to do it with you."

I eventually stop speaking after what feels like a lifetime. Cas squirms in my embrace. I let him go and feel something inside of me break as he steps away from me. In a voice so soft and low I almost miss it: "I think I need you too Dean." Is all he says before pulling me in for a kiss. I put my whole soul and being into the kiss.

Knock-knock

Breaking apart I see Benny at the doorway. Cas moves to stand away from me, I wind my fingers into his. Both stopping him from walking away and also to show him I am in this thing for real.

"What's up Benny? Have you met Cas? Cas, Benny, my best friend since I can remember. Benny, Cas, the...the guy I'm seeing..."I might as well jump in ",and hopefully more one day. " I say, comfortable around my best friend. Benny just smiles.

"Good for ya brother. Nice to meet you Cas." Benny says, nodding towards Cas.

"Anyway. I just wanted to know if I could leave. My neice got hurt at school and ye know her momma and dadda work on the other side of town. Thought I could go pick her up, see what's wrong." Benny explains, his worry masked by his casual drawl. But his eyes are sharp, full of anxious concern.

"Sure thing brother. Go see what's wrong with Eve. Can't believe you even bothered asking me. Her mom and Chuck would skin me alive if they know I kept you away from their Eve. Go! I'll see you tomorrow."

"Alright. Bye brother, Cas." Benny walks out, leaving me and Cas alone.

I turn to look at him. He's looking down at our hands, fingers still intertwined.

"You are the one who wanted to go slow...but I am your 'more one day'." He says, looking up at me, amusement in his eyes.

Rolling my eyes, "Whatever Cas. Lets eat pie!"

After enjoying Charlie's delicious pie and coffee for a few minutes in silence, Cas speaks up:

"Dean, what are you looking for?" He asks, his head tilted slightly.

"There's a couple of customers who want to claim back from their insurances. So they decide to want it today and Bobby's the only one who would be able to find anything in this mess." I explain, between mouthfuls of pie.

"And where are the names and dates of the clients?" He asks, moving closer to the desk of mount papermore.

"That green sticky on the bottle of whiskey, which I have to say makes concentrating much harder by the way. No wonder the old man can't file for shit."

"This old man can still whip yo ass boy!" Booms Bobby from the doorway.
