Cas p.o.v
"So what you wanna do?" Dean says absently as he carefully navigates Baby out of her parking spot. We left Gabe and Sam at Byte 'n Bake because Sam had gotten invested in a game of GOT and Gabe wanted to stay with him.
I wonder what Dean wants to do because I would like to get some form of exercise...but I should probably get some work done. But only one can be done which will include Dean. "Hmm, we could do something productive." I answer, watching the outside world blur into greens, reds and grey.
"Productive huh?" Dean all but purrs. I swear this man has the libido of a teenager. Rolling my eyes: "I meant something productive outside Dean."
"Cas you kinky bastard!" Dean exclaims, laughing with his entire body. That's not what I was trying to imply... But now that he brought it up I can't help but wonder if there would be a secluded spot with a nice view where we could...No. Stop thinking this. OUTSIDE. WE WANTED EXERCISE. OUTSIDE.
"Sweet Lord and Saviour. Jogging Dean. I meant we could go for a jog. You might be able to eat pie for every meal but soon my clothing won't fit correctly anymore."
Dean's face drops instantly."But Cas. Who runs willingly?" he whines. He sounds almost like Gabe when I say he needs to eat some vegetables.
"I do."
(Fast Forward)
How is it that Dean can even look muscular, he has been whining and panting since we hit the one kilometer mark. I wonder if he played sport at school. That would explain for the toned physique and he seems like the type of person who was probably captain of whatever sport he played.
"Come on Cas man. How much further?" Dean whines, breathlessly a few paces behind me.
Should I tell him we are actually running 6 kilometers? "Two more kilometres." No, I won't...I will however take a shortcut and make it only five kilometers. I don't think he will survive otherwise .
Dean p.o.v
Between careful, deep breaths, Cas stated that it was still two more kilometers.
Two more? Imma die. I can't do another two kilometres. "That's what you said two kilometres ago!"
"Yeah, I lied. We're doing a 5k" Cas says. He doesn't even sound that out of breath. What the hell man?
"I swear to god." I mumble as I quicken my pace to keep up with Cas' even strides.
"Come on Dean. We'll finish by Char, you can have a slice of pie as a reward."
Fuck yes! PIE!
(Fast Forward)
I swear if I didn't love this man I would kill him. Five fucking kilometers on a Sunday! Panting, I plop into a stool nearest to my beloved pie. The cafe's activity from earlier's died down. Just leaving a few regulars like myself, Benjamin and his older sister Emma Braedon.
Cas p.o.v
"Yo Cas. Did you get Dean to actually run-"asks Sammy with a look of utter bewilderedness before being interrupted by Gabe,
"Or did you and Cassie get freaky in the alley like some kinky motherfuckers?" continues Gabe, giving us an exaggerated wink.
"Boys, there are kids." Scolds Char, stiffling a giggle.
"He tricked- me with- a 'short jog' and the - promise of- pie." Dean says, taking deep breaths and making quote marks around the stupid exercise activity. I knew he would not have made 6 kilometers.
"Damn Cas. Dean is so inlove with you. The only times he runs is when he runs away from his homosexuality and Ellen when she's in a bad mood." Char says laughing.
"Hey! I'm right here!" my green eyed boyfriend says, his voice raising in indignation.
"Let's get you some pie Dean." I say to keep the peace which may easily become a full on dispute.
"PIE!" Dean moans like a mad man at the sight of his glorious pie. Because I know my boyfriend so well, I slip out of his seat to let him savour his reward in peace, moving to one of the desk bound laptops to check a few e-mails in preperation for my day tomorrow. About halfway through compiling an electronic to-do list for myself and Adam I notice movement out of the corner of my eye. Exactly where I left Dean with his beloved pie. There is a rather beautiful woman sitting by Dean but he looks rather uncomfortable, scooting further away from her and towards me even though he probably doesn't know where I am...and she has a hand on Dean's thigh. With a seductive smile and flip of her luscious brown locks she continues to speak to and rub Dean. What in God's name is this woman doing? Who does she think she is? Why isn't Dean doing anything?
Whatever Dean is saying isn't enough, this woman is still rubbing her grubby paw on Dean's thigh. I will hurt her. I could smite her right now. I get up and move towards the current situation to hear as well as see how it unfolds.
"I'm flattered Lisa. And you look amazing but I'm kinda taken ya know." Dean says sheepishly, his face red. Lisa gives a stupid pout, "I bet she isn't as good as I am..." What if I'm not as good as this mysterious woman? What if Dean decides he prefers the company of women? What if I am not enough?
"He's amazing. Perfect actually." Dean responds, his voice still shaky but not missing a beat, causing the woman's eyes to buldge at his statement.
"Did you say 'he', as in a guy?" she asks incredulous. She looks like one of thos kids toys where you can squeeze their heads and their eyes expand to almost explode.
Placing a hand on Dean's lower back I interrupt the little conversation they are having: "Yes he did. Now if you would please remove your hand from my boyfriend's thigh that would be great." The mystery woman stares at me, obviously sizing me up in my rumpled and sweaty jogging clothing, hair still obviously a mess because when does it ever look half-way presentable?
"You must be one hell of a guy to catch and keep the great Dean Winchester." She says promptly before getting up and heading towards the only two other people in the store, a girl and boy I have never seen before.
"What a horrible person." I say, plopping into MY seat next to Dean.
"Uhm, yeah." he answers before shuffling more pie into his mouth.
Looking carefully for any signs of deceit, "What did she mean when she said to 'catch and keep the great Dean Winchester'?" Dean doesn't seem to hesitate, but continues eating his cherry pie.
"Dean, I asked you a simple question." So he isn't showing signs of lying I don't think...
"She's just an old ex Cas. Nothing to worry about."Dean responds. My body stills. So the mystery woman is an ex...and she propositioned him for sex!
"An old ex who just propositioned you for sex." My voice is low, almost guttral.
"Which I declined." Dean says, glancing at me. Before I can think of anything relatively calm to say about the matter he grabs my shirt and forcefully pulls me forward. Lurching on the stool, our lips collide.
After letting go I see there's lust and something more, deeper in his eyes, "And that's why I declined." Dean looks through the store, as of he is surprised that it might be empty at 4pm on a Sunday afternoon.
"The boys are helping Charlie with stock take at the back. We're the last ones here Dean."
"Oh, well more pie for me then." He says, happy like a five year own left alone in a sweet shop as he helps himself to another piece of pie. Another piece about half the size of my head.
"That's not what I was trying to imply Winchester" I growl before smashing pur lips together again before his is full of pie.
