Kinda nervous

"Sammy. Get your ass in the kitchen NOW" I shout as I enter the house. I kick the door closed but only because my hands are full of groceries.

"Dude, what's up?" Sammy asks, striding into the kitchen, his hair in a messy bun, his glasses still on.

Unpacking the groceries onto the counter I begin explaining: "So Charlie invited Cas and your boyfriend over for supper tonight." Lets just say I'm kinda nervous to have Cas in our house.

"Why would she do something like that?" Sammy asks as he begins packing the unneccessary groceries away and handing me a beer. Huh, he didn't correct me. He so likes Gabe. Way to go Sammy.

"Because she thinks she can force me out of the closet..." Crap. I should probably say something. He's just staring at me. Son of a bitch!

"Yeah...so I think I'm sorta gay...But only for Cas apparently." I rush out, spicing the chicken so I don't have to look at Sammy but I can feel his eyes on my back.

"Dean, Do me a favour and look me in the eye." Fuck. I'm gonna turn around and see disappointment in Sammy's eyes. I should've kept my pie hole shut. I turn around slowly, taking a large gulp from my beer.

"Dude, I know you weren't completely straight... Though by the sounds of things I think you might be pan instead." Explains Sammy, the epitome of calm.

"I'm a... pan... what now?" I splutter.

"Pansexual Dean. It means you're not limited in sexual choice with regard to biological sex, gender, or gender identity." He explains, shrugging.

"Okay, if I am pan-whatchu call it. Why are you so calm about it?" I put the chicken into the oven and set the timer before turning to stare at my little brother with wonder and suspicion. He's blushing

"Because, I'm sorta gay Dean. And I know I dated Jess" Sammy explains.

"Yeah, Jess was smokin'" I interject, remembering the black curls and beautiful smile.

"Yeah, exactly. She was perfect and I felt nothing romatic... but not just towards her, towards girls in general."

"Well Sammy. As long as you're happy, I'm happy." I say and embrace my Sammy.

"Thanks man. Plus, you get a lot of women to sleep with you and from past expieriences you seemed to have enjoyed it a lot...but if you like Castiel so much it must mean something. I mean, I know you have a man crush on Dr Sexy but never a non-fictational male that I have noticed before today." continues Sammy.

Well son of a bitch doubted my sexuality and never mentioned it to me before...

"Yeah, well no need to mention any of this to Cas." I say, my hand finding its away to my neck. My blush obvious as my cheeks feel like they're on fire.

"Yeah, of course. I doubt that Gabe would be interested in me anyway. I mean, he's a senior and besides he's probably as straight as an arrow." Continues Sammy, his face looking glum.

I snort, "You don't gotta worry about that. Gabe's bi" I say, starting on the potato salad.

"How do you know?" Sammy asks, his head whipping so fast I'm sure he has whiplash.

"Cas mentioned he came out to his parents to support him because they were being dicks about it." I say, anger bubbling inside of me. Who would kick two of their kids out just because they happen to like some dick... besides John. He'd probably kick me out for less than that. I think darkly.

"Anyway. You'd better go and powder your nose. Wouldn't want Gabe to see the whore unpainted." I jokingly say, grabbing another beer.

Insecurity flashes in Sammy's eyes before he turns and heads out of the kitchen. At the doorway he turns," Hey Dean, I guess that morning wood yesterday was about Castiel?" He asks.
