Drum roll

"Is that Cas?" asks Sammy, not looking up from his laptop. We're both sitting in the kitchen. ACDC playing sofly in the background while I nurse a beer, relishing in the clean kitchen.

"Why would Cas be messaging me, you dork. Just go back to whatever Latin shit you're busy with" I say defensively, grabbing my phone from the counter.

Cas: Hello Dean. I would just like to say thank you for tonight...and for standing up for me earlier. You did not have to.

Me: Cas, I wasn't going to let Gabriel be a dick to you. Even if he is your brother ;)

Cas: But you barely know me.

Me: That's not the point dude. You seem like a great guy

(More than a good guy actually... damn near perfect to me...)

Cas:... Thank you Dean.

Me: Any time Cas... So I suppose you taking things slow while you get settled in and start looking for a job, huh?

(Why am I making small talk with him? I should leave him to enjoy his fancy new house and like Beethoven or some shit like that.)

Cas: Actually, I start tomorrow at D&A Accounting.

D&A Accounting. I snort, knew he was a nerd.

Me: So you an accountant?

Cas: Yes I am. Not the most exciting career but I fair well enough...May I ask you a question Dean?

Me: Shoot Cas

Cas: What can you tell me about Crowley? He is my new partner... since Anna left.

(Oh god, not only is he a nerd but he is an ultimate nerd! He's walking in as a head partner at the bloody firm. He'll never even look twice at me...)

Me: Crowley is a real piece of work. A mega douche, padantic pansy of a human being. He's great at his job but terrible at people skills.

Cas: Oh, well that will make this shift a lot more uncomfortable than I had hoped.

Me: More uncomfortable?

Cas: It does not matter. Have a pleasant evening further Dean.

(End of conversation)

Well weird is an understatement. I wonder what's eating at Cas. They've been here a total of 2 days and he's already uncomfortable...

" Earth to Dean" says Sammy, throwing a pen at me.

"HEY MAN!" I say, a bitchface already in place.

"Man, you were completely gone. Anyway, as I was saying. I've got nothing due in the morning so I'm gonna turn in for the night" Says Sammy, shutting his laptop off. I look down at my phone: 10:23. I could probably still go to a nearby bar and test my luck.

"Kay Sammy. Imma head up too I guess" What the hell man. I thought you wanted to get drunk and get some action...

But I doubt Cas would be found in a bar this time of the night anyway. Son-of-a-bitch I have it bad for him. I just need a shower and some shut eye.

Cas p.o.v

Dean and Sam were actually here. In our home. As our first official guests. Gabe and Sam seem to be getting along well...I wonder if he's told Sam that he is bisexual. I know Gabe doesn't care but it's still a new school and new people, which means new judgements.

"Hey Gabe" I say, rapping on his bedroom door.

"Come in!"

When I walk in, it looks like an art store has exploded in Gabriel's room. There are canvases in various stages of completion. His oils and pastels, although thankfully all closed, lays haphazardly in one corner of his room. His bed is unmade and the windows are bare. He himself is sitting by his desk, working on his laptop.

"Gabriel. Did you really have a guest in this disgrace of a room?" I ask, resisting the urge to clean up after my little brother.

"Yeah. He didn't seem too bothered by it. Especially not when I showed him my algorithim to hack into the school's announcement board. " Says Gabriel, smirking as he unwraps a lolly from the jar on his desk.

"You couldn't wait one week," I roll my eyes skyward, "But that's in the past I guess."

"Cassie, you're stalling. What do you want?" Says Gabriel. His full attention on me now.

"I actually wanted to ask you if you told Sam...that you are...Bisexual?" I stammer.

"Yeah, I did. And then Samsquash blushed." Gabriel says, his eyes shining. Maybe this move is exactly what he needed."I guess you are wondering if Dean is gay or bisexual?"

"Why would Dean be gay?" I ask. Genuine curiosity masked by innocence and confusion.

"Because you'd like to ride his pony home from the rodeo" Smirks Gabriel.

I blush, "Must you always be so graphic Gabriel?" I ask, exasperated.

"I'm right though." Smugness drips from gabriel's voice.

"Goodnight Gabriel." I end the conversation before my brother can fill my head with any more images of Dean Winchester and his pony. In my room, I take a hot shower, allowing the blazing water to beat the stress out of my shoulders. But although I'm physically relaxed, my mind races. Charlie says Dean is gay... Samual is definately curious at the least. Gabriel seems to have a crush on Samual. I definately have a crush on Dean Winchester.

I eventually climb out of the shower and wrap a towel around my waist, another around my head to dry the mess which is my hair. As I grab a pair of clean boxers with one hand, the other grabs my phone and rather impulsively begins to text.

Me: Hello Dean. I would just like to say thank you for tonight...and for standing up for me earlier. You did not have to.

Dean: Cas, I wasn't going to let Gabriel be a dick to you. Even if he is your brother ;)

Me: But you barely know me.

Dean: That's not the point dude. You seem like a great guy

(Is it too much to ask him to like me back God?)

Me:... Thank you Dean.

Dean: Any time Cas... So I suppose you taking things slow while you get settled in and start looking for a job, huh?

Me: Actually, I start tomorrow at D&A Accounting.

Dean: So you an accountant?

Me: Yes I am. Not the most exciting career but I fair well enough...May I ask you a question Dean?

Dean: Shoot Cas

Me: What can you tell me about Crowley? He is my new partner... since Anna left.

Dean: Crowley is a real piece of work. A mega douche, pandantic pansy of a human being. He's great at his job but terrible at people skills.

Me: Oh, well that will make this shift a lot more uncomfortable

(Because my new business partner is an assbutt and I like the best looking guy in town, which may or may not be gay.)

Dean: More uncomfortable?

Me: It does not matter. Have a pleasant evening further Dean.

I lock my phone and climb into my bed. Allowing the thick, fluffy down duvet to wrap up all of my dreams: good as well as bad...
