When you're close to tears and feel so numb
I smile as you text me
As you show me attention
As you smile down at me
How you lazily lay in my car you're eyes closed with a smirk on your lips
The sound of your laugh as I annoy you
The way you hold my hand and show me such attention
As though for a moment I'm important to you
Then I see you in public you glance at me but ignore me other that that
Your laughter echos in the halls as you pass me
Your sadness brings a smile to my lips because you only want me when you're sad
Because you know I care
Because you know I won't push you away
Because you know I'm weak and I want nothing more than to see you smile
