I sat on the edge of the bathtub in Roman's hotel room as I watched his lips curve, blowing smoky hoops from his cigarette into the air, his lashes fluttering up as he watched me poke my finger through them, a small smirk tugging at the corners of his mouth.
"Tomorrow I tell him the truth."
I broke the comfortable silence, Roman's eyes catching mine as he nodded.
"I'm serious."
I said in a blunt tone so Roman would stop smirking and would take me seriously.
"You know it will still be hard. We've been together a while Roman."
As soon as I said his name Roman saw I was serious and his face dropped.
"It's the right thing to do."
He answered in a monotone. Silence started up again only this time it was a little uncomfortable. I was about to walk off when I felt Roman's wet, warm grasp on my wrist, pulling me back to the edge of the tub.
"Roman..."
I said in fake annoyance, rolling my eyes as he finger gestured for me to come closer, then tapped his lips with his two fingers. Of course looking into those big iridescent eyes that seemed to look paler from the reflection of the water, I leant forward, hands on the edge of the bath as my lips nearly touched his, before suddenly feeling a spray of water on the bottom half of my face, dripping down my top.

I jumped back with a gasp and saw my white oversized t shirt was now becoming transparent. I glared at Roman playfully as he laughed in hysterics.
"Oh you're so funny you know that Godfrey?"
My tone dripping in sarcasm as I slowly approached him once more. His eyes immediately looked at my chest as his smirk died down as I got closer, finally crouching down beside the bath so I was at eye level with him as he sat back.
"Well I think it's only fair I get that kiss I was expecting."
I smirked at his wandering eyes as he looked over my features. He gave a genuine smile and as he leant forward, I felt his finger under my chin, finally locking our lips together. The feeling would never get old or something I'll get used to, it'll always take my breath away. He pulled away, his warm forehead against mine before flicking his cigarette to the marble floor and both his hands gently pulling my face to his as we continued kissing with more passion this time. Before I knew it he had my shirt over my head and he took my hands, eagerly helping me between his legs into the warm water, his arms instantly wrapping around me as my legs wrapped round his waist as our lips didn't disconnect.

Once we eventually got out, we dried ourselves before climbing into his soft double bed, switching the lights off. Roman pulled me into his side as I rested my head on his chest and wrapped one leg over his side, his arm right around my waist, falling asleep in under 5 minutes.

The new day came and I already felt slight anxiety in my stomach as I checked my phone to see two messages from Darius wondering if I wanted to get breakfast with him in an hour at 11am. I bit my lip before replying with a yes even though I nearly declined. The quicker I told Darius, the quicker I could take his reaction and not worry about it all day. Roman turned as he stirred and his eyes half opened as he furrowed his brows at me before mumbling.
"Who is it?"
I bit my lip and decided to just be straight with him.
"It's Darius. Wants me to have breakfast with him in an hour."
Roman rubbed his eyes like a little kid which I thought was kinda cute. He sat up, resting his arms across his upright knees.
"Go."
He instructed, his eyes still not fully open.
"Are you sure? I could go later and have breakfast with you here-"
Roman chuckled before cutting me off, placing his hand on my thigh.
"Babe, it's ok, you need to tell him. I'm a big boy, I'll be fine."
I gave a grateful smile, using my fingertips to gently move some hair from his forehead.
"And you know..."
He spoke slyly with a small smirk as his eyes were wider now as he watched me.
"There's always the room service girls in their cute little cleaning uniforms."
I immediately slapped his hand from my thigh and picked up a pillow, hitting him with it as he laughed at my reaction. I smirked knowing he was trying to make me jealous so I'd be more eager to tell Darius the truth.
