Tord sighed in relief. "Thank god, Edd is not able to escape the army yet. He'd most likely kill both of us. Maybe I shouldn't have broken the first rule of our friendship: to never eat his bacon... But then again, I love it, too. Why should he always get to eat it?"
"You two are literally about to kill each other... for bacon. Meat. This is just so stupid... so wrong... and I hope you realise you have a lot of explaining to do, commie. There are some things you hid from all of us. You are the leader of a fucking army who kidnapped our friends, for god's sake! And we have to free them."
"Why do we have to do that?" he whined, completely ignoring that I had just complained about his secrets. "That would never end well! Let's just wait and they can free themselves!"
"Because if something bad happens to us we are completely alone and don't have anyone to help us, dumbass. No one is there to keep us from having a panic attack, for example. Except maybe Ringo. And Edd's probably less angry that we ate all the bacon if we help him," I replied, wondering how to even get to that army. In our condition I didn't think it was a good idea to drive without a driver's license and I didn't even know where that place was to begin with.
"That makes sense... I guess."
"But how are we going to get there? You know where the army is, right?"
"This is a dumb question, Jehovah's witness, even for you. I'm their leader, of course I know."
"It will probably take hours of walking, no matter where it is since we can't drive," I muttered, angry about his comment, but trying to hide it as best as I could. "I don't want to walk that long... it'd be exhausting."
"Not if we use what I came back for, Jehovah's witness," he chuckled.
"What?" I asked.
"Oh, come on, Tom, I already know that you have wondered quite a few times why I came back after all those years. Your thoughts always focus around that and now you're trying to hide it? Well, here's the answer why. I created something in my secret laboratory and wanted to get it back to the army."
"One of the serums?"
"No. They were something I worked on simultaneously."
"Uh... your hat?"
"Well, yeah, that too, but not ONLY my hat." I was getting curious. What DID he come back for then? There was so much he was hiding from us. I was hiding some things, too, but my secret was dangerous and might end up with me getting examined by scientists. I kept it for my own self preservation. I really didn't want to have my normal life end, so my monster secret was at least reasonable to hide.
Our body slowly walked to our room, as if he was not really ready. Not ready to get whatever he had come back for. He was acting so nervous. That was pretty new for him. Normally he was self confidence personified. I let him control our body, probably due to my own curiosity about what he was meaning with all of that. The picture of a gigantic red robot began to appeare in my mind. I could tell Tord was concentrating on this thing, so it was most likely what he had left here. But where the hell was he hiding that thing? He couldn't really hide it in a closet, it was huge.
He walked closer to the control panel and was about to press the button which had put his hat on Matt's head, before he stopped, hand in the air and started looking around. "Where's my hat?"
"I don't know, but is this really important right now? Press the goddamn button, moron!"
"I go nowhere without my hat!" he shouted, crossing his arms.
"You are such a ridiculous person that I don't know if I should cry or laugh," I commented with a groan.
We noticed his stupid head lying on the floor behind a basket with some of my laundry. Tord made us pick the Pickelhaube up carefully and put it on our head, grinning like the idiot he was.
"Alright, now we can do this!" Laughing like a complete maniac he pressed the button. A human sized pipe came down and transported us down under the house, right inside the robot. I watched as the missing arms got attached to its body by different machines.
I stared at the control panel in front of me in pure delight as the robot ascended into our backyard. So many buttons with weapons attached to it to destroy everything around me. I LOVED it. Especially the blinking button above my head seemed interesting.
You really shouldn't press that. His sudden thought almost made me jump. Luckily I could control myself, but I think he noticed. I couldn't let him get to the conclusion I was a coward.
Why? It's a weapon, isn't it? Scared I'll blow up the earth?
If you consider Anime music a weapon, then, yes, definitely.
I stayed silent after that trying to ignore his laughter by looking outside. I saw the neighbors come out off their house, staring at the robot and yelling at us, but they just looked so tiny. "So... Any plans?"
"We'll fly the robot as close as-"
"This thing can FLY?! Holy-"
"Yeah, now as I said, we fly this baby as close as we can get without being seen by the army, and then sneak inside through a secret door I know. This will bring us to my office. I have a few soldier uniforms stored in there, so we can put on one of them and act like we are part of the army. Easy-peasy, I AM part of their army, so I know all codes, all orders, everything. We find Edd and Matt, take Paul and Patryck out, and escape the way we came through. It will be a bit crowded in here, but we'll manage."
"I like your plan except it sucks, so let me do the plan and that way it might be really good."
"What is your plan then, asshole?" Tord questioned, pretty annoyed at this point.
"We crash into the base with the robot, destroy as much as possible, take Matt and Edd and escape," I replied with a smug grin on my face.
"I honestly don't think you can even consider this abomination a plan. And even if it is, it's just horrible," he replied, facepalming.
"I know. I just wanted to piss you off," I snickered.
