The evil director and his assistant looked at each other for a moment, then the film maker started grinning. "Would you mind if I kidnap your friends to make a movie with them...?"
I stared at him in shock, before glaring at him. "I am not going to give someone else my friends! Especially not when they are the only ones who can reach the shelf in which I put the cola with bacon! And that's final!"
Matt blinked a few times before frowning at me. "But I can also do that..."
I groaned, "Maybe you can, but you are too busy staring at your reflection and complimenting yourself most of the time." I turned back towards the two men. "So it's actually good they are fused and I am not going to let you kidnap them. Don't. Even. Try it. Nothing gets between me and cola, especially not when it's cola with bacon!" I glared at them.
"This could have been a really great movie," the evil director muttered. "It would have been a perfect masterpiece."
"They haven't MASTERed PIECEfulness yet," I replied, earning me two very annoyed glares before they resumed their argument.
His assistant looked at him, rolling his eye. "We have enough clones to make a movie with them. Why don't you use one of them?"
"But they are not good enough for such a great movie with hundreds of people watching it! It's not the same compared to using an actual fusion! We need actors like that, not cheap copies!"
"I could be an actor!" Matt grinned at both of them.
Larry and his boss looked at him for a second, their eyes wandering over his body and face, then they replied in unison, "No."
Matt started pouting, giving them death glares. "Stupid people... Don't see my talent.. I'll show them..." He muttered.
"A perfect masterpiece, huh? You say that every single time you make a movie and then, in the end we only have these four people in the cinema. It's like that every time. Why don't you just try making actually good movies?" Larry asked.
"But that means too much corporate meddling!"
Sighing, I grabbed Matt's sleeve, pulling him towards the entrance and out of the cinema. I just didn't want to be here any longer than I had to with those guys in there.
"Hi guys," Tord greeted us. "So, how was the movie?"
"Did we miss anything important?"
"You missed a lot!", Matt squeaked. "The movie was just brilliant! Not as brilliant as Matt on Matt action of course, but-"
"Nobody wants to hear anything about your strange stuff, Matt!" I growled at him. "Nobody! That stuff is disgusting..."
"Matt on Matt action? I am curious now. What even is that?" Tord asked, looking at Matt curiously.
"Oh, it's basically the tape me and my clone made-"
"You don't want to know it, commie," Tom interrupted with a disgusted look on his face. "It's the worst. Trust me, I thought the same until Matt forced me to watch it."
"Let's just go home and enjoy the rest of the day," I suggested. I didn't want to hear anything about Matt's Matt on Matt action movie anymore, but I didn't want anyone to cause a fight either.
"Alright," the fusion said with a shrug.
The way back home we stayed quiet since we had nothing to talk about. Until we passed our neighbours house, when he saw the neighbours standing next to the fence like they were waiting for us. "They really don't have any hobbies, do they?" Tord murmured, rolling his eyes.
"Nope."
"Hey, what did you losers do this morning? Did you even do anything productive?" Eduardo smirked. Now we would get the usual 'we are so much better than you' speech. Ugh.
"For your information, we went to the cinema," I replied calmly.
My favorite neighbor snorted. "And watched what? Some cartoon? Those are for children!"
"But you animated for a children's cartoon once..." Jon frowned. "And we also watch cartoons a lot."
"Shut up, idiot," Eduardo hissed before looking back at me. "I bet you-"
"Just ignore him, Edd..." Tom muttered, causing my focus to shift towards the fusion. Did I really look that angry?
"Yes, don't bother with him. He is just jealous."
"And an asshole," Tom added.
"That guy is just pretending to be better, he probably thinks he's not good enough, that's why he acts like that."
"Yeah, exactly! You remember what happened when you got superpowers. It's a petty grudge."
I stared at them, completely taken aback by how they acted. "Guys, are you okay? Do I... do I need to worry about you? This is like the first time you agreed on the same thing."
"...no...?" They replied.
"Well, actually we went in the new Insane Zombie Pirates from Hell movie," Matt told our neighbours with a proud grin.
"And you go into the cinema wearing just a pyjama? It's embarrassing. Don't you care what others think of you?" Mark questioned. "Seriously, what's wrong with you?"
"Nothing. I am just good looking unlike you three, so I can get away with it," Matt answered.
Eduardo stared at him in shock, his mouth wide open. I almost burst into laughter at the sight. It looked comical. "You little-!!!"
"It was nice to talk to you guys!" I said, laughing as I put my arm around him, and walked to our front door, Tatum and Tord following behind us.
The fusion put the middle finger of every single hand up in the neighbours' direction, and we entered our home, feeling triumphant. At least I did, seeing the look on Eduardo's face.
