Imogen's POV:
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Anyway, back to the story.
*Let's rewind an hour*
I waved to Ava and walked to my form room. Our form tutor told us that we didn't have a seating plan and we could just sit wherever we wanted. I sat at the very back on the left with an empty seat beside me. I put my bag on it as a sign of saying to other people that I didn't want anybody to sit next to me. The jet black haired girl came over, pushed my bag and sat down.
"Excus-"
"CLASS!"
My ears.
"WE WILL GO AROUND THE CLASSROOM AND EVERYBODY WILL INTRODUCE THEMSELVES, WHEN IT GETS TO YOUR TURN, STAND UP, SAY YOUR NAME, BIRTHDAY, AGE, HOBBIES AND WHATEVER," she finally shut up.
It started from the other side of the classroom. So that meant I was last and the girl next to me was second last. After 10 minutes, it was finally the girl next to me's turn. She stood up.
"Hi. I'm Tana Park, well that's my nickname, my actual name is (you don't get to know! It would spoil the whole story)my birthday is 17th July 2006 and I'm 11 years old. I like staying up late, so I'm more of a night owl and I hate the sun. Literally burns. Don't become close to me or you'll end up getting bitten," she sat down.
There was a long ten seconds of silence before everybody burst out laughing. She grinned and turned to me, her eyes suddenly turned ruby red and as she opened her mouth to laugh, sharp canines stuck out. As I blinked and shook my head it was gone, was I imagining?
"Oh, it's your turn," the girl said.
I stood up and cleared my throat.
"Hello, I'm Imogen Mannix, my birthday is 7th April 2006 and I'm 11, well I think we all are. I can't sleep, I haven't slept for like, what? A month now? If you want to become my friend, that really ain't gonna be easy. So you might as well just give up on it," I sat down.
Nobody laughed like they did at Tana, they just stared at me like I was insane. Not relevant, but demons are meant to bloody insane, so I can't blame them.
"Ok then, you can talk to who you're sitting next to and just try to make friends, you have 50 minutes of free time," the form tutor smiled and left the room.
I laughed. That's me as a teacher.
"So," I turned to the strange girl, "you're Tana?"
"Hi Imogen. I guess you got yourself kicked out of Hell? What rule did you break this time?" she looked at me.
"How do you know? I shielded it!"
Whatever energy she was sending out, it didn't feel nice.
"Maybe because you don't know who I am and if I belong here?" she smirked.
Her eyes turned red again, except darker.
"What are you? You're not human, demon or guardian, or both, so what?!"
She just giggled.
"Oh," she suddenly stopped, "you aren't joking? You haven't figured out what I am yet? Oh my God, I didn't know you were THAT slow."
She put her feet on the table and looked out of the classroom (the walls are made of glass, so you can see through them) to look at Ava.
"Do you know Ava?" I asked her.
