Alex's first reaction was embarrassment. But as the moments flew by her embarrassment turned into anger and she lunged at Luke, for her pen.

"You idiot! That was the pen I've been looking for this whole time!" she hissed, leaning back in her seat as she hugged her pen.

"How was I supposed to know? All you did was tell me to stand up!" Luke protested.

"Shut up," Alex snapped, before scribbling down what the teacher had said to.

Of course, they were acting but not at the same time. Alex would never properly get angry, it was rare. She was over exaggerating about her pen being in Luke's hand and made a squabble with him, to which he played along perfectly.

Obviously, all eyes were on them as they had tiny squabbles during the lesson. It was perfect. Everyone saw them as friends play fighting, while Imogen and Eva knew that they were just acting, pretty good, as well.

Before they knew it, the lesson was over quicker than it started. 7H1'S next class was Dance.

Oh boy.

---GOING BACK TO 7G1 (AVA, SHARON AND JULIA'S CLASS)---

The lesson that they were headed to next was English Literature.

Sharon and Xherikia  eyed the late girl, confused at her appearance.

"She really does look like-"

"Hey guys!" Ava chirped.

"Hi," Xherikia replied tiredly.

"Did you make friends?" Sharon asked, more friendlier than Xherikia.

"Umm, yeah, 2-ish. One called Harleen, and one called… shit I forgot her name," she mumbled.

Xherikia snorted.

"Well you can just ask them aga-"

"Nah, that'd be weird," Ava waved off Sharon's suggestion with one hand. "Anyway I think it was something like… Fran? Franny? Fran-something?"

Ava carried on guessing random names.

"Ahh!" she clicked her fingers as they arrived at their next class. "It was Francesca!"

"Good for you," Xherikia rolled her eyes, tired already from the first period.

They lined up across the balcony with the rest of the class, and a slim teacher who had her hair up in a bun with glasses, young-looking turned up.

"Enter," she said, opening the door.

Xherikia lumped in.

"Hey do you have a back problem or something?" the teacher asked.

Xherikia raised an eyebrow, but remembered her place.

"No, sorry miss," she looked towards the floor while on the inside she just wanted to make the teacher mute.

"I would love to walk like that all around school, it would be representing my emotions 100%," she smiled.

Xherikia looked up, shocked, before the entire class laughed with the teacher. She grinned, already forgetting her previous hate towards the teacher.

"Ok," the teacher said as the class quieted down. "My name is Miss Adamek, and I'm your English Literature teacher. For today, you can all sit where you want, I'll assign your seats once I know how you act."

Before Ava could join Xherikia and Sharon at the back, Harleen, her new-found friend, invited her to sit with herself and Francesca in the second row. Ava smiled and agreed.
