*Time skip to 10 minutes later*
Julia had somehow managed to distract Eva long enough to clean up the mess (by chucking the bottles out of the window onto the front porch) and get Imogen cleaned up because she had thrown up over herself as Julia was cleaning.
"I'm tiiiiiiiiiiiirrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeedddddddddddddddd," Imogen whined like a baby.
Julia groaned in annoyance before yeeting Imogen on Imogen's bed and throwing the covers over her face.
"Then sleep, you dumbarse," she sneered.
Imogen hit Julia's face before turning her body so her back was facing Julia.
"Did you just hit m-" Julia calmed herself before she went on rage mode, "nevermind, go to sleep. I legit wasted 10 minutes of my life and now the food is probably cold."
Julia headed downstairs and into the dining room.
"I'm late I kno-"
"JULIA KOWAL!" Julia jumped.
Everyone was basically glaring holes through Julia, and finally, she noticed why. Eva had obviously thought that she would only take about 2 minutes, so she told everyone to wait, and wait, and wait. So everyone was sitting at their places, with nothing on their plates, the steak and fillet were probably cold by now as well, so yes, everyone at this moment was particularly very mad at Julia.
"You can just put them back in the-" Julia was cut off again.
"No I can't! Just all of you! Take what you want and chuck it into the microwave for 2 minutes, it won't be the same as it was before, but at least you won't have to eat cold food thanks to a certain someone here," Eva snapped.
Julia sighed and rolled her eyes. She wasn't in the mood to feel guilty, more like pissed, actually. She had to spend 10 minutes of her life as a human just to clean up Imogen's mess of alocohol.
"You didn't even get Imogen when I told you to!" Eva screamed again.
"Look Eva!" Julia barked, "Imogen has currently thrown up over herself, so I had to clean her up and put her to bed, I am not in the mood for you to shout at me, okay?!"
Everyone fell silent as they had by now, gathered the food they wanted and had put them in the microwave, but not set the timer yet.
"Did, you, just, yell, at, me?" Eva quietened her voice to flat indoor voice.
"Yes, I did, and I'm not sorry. You may be the Mum of the group Eva, but it seems that I am the leader, so just please, don't yell at me when you know nothing of what just happened!" she cried.
Eva refrained herself from snapping at Julia again.
"Fine," she said, "prepare the food you want and put it in the microwave, there are 13 microwaves, so only one spare is there because Imogen is sick."
Julia stayed silent after that and put her food in the microwave, setting it for two minutes, she saw something in the corner of her eye.
An...
Envelope?
Julia turned and saw that it was a tiny envelope, wrapped in a gold ribbon. She grabbed it and realised that it was quite heavy, so it must have a long ass note in there. Julia decided to not read it now because it might lead them to somewhere else in the house, so she tucked it in her pockets and took her food out of the microwave, before sitting down with the others at the dining table so they could eat.
~Time skip given to you by a drunk Imogen, where we go to 10 minutes later*
Everyone had finished eating, and Eva was washing the dishes. While everybody had retreated to the living room, Julia sat in her seat that she sat in when she was eating, and opened the enevelope, reading to herself in her head.
