Since we're always around with the others, why not go around to Tana's little place?
"Yah," she smacked him around the head. "I said staking, not human baking. Where did you get that book from anyway? I thought this library was just full of magical creature information."
He rubbed the back of his head and scowled at the girl.
"Most of it is," he replied. "I just wanted to add a little human section, because the human race is more interesting than you think."
Tana rolled her eyes and snatched the book from him.
"I'll do a little read and decide whether you are right, now go find me that staking book!" she demanded.
He swiveled on his heel and walked away, secretly smiling to himself as Tana has actually agreed to read the book. Once Tana saw him go to the other side of the library, she closed the book pretty forecfully and looked out of the window, before sighing and closing the curtains.
"There's nothing to see down here," she mumbled to herself as she jumped off of the desk she was sitting on. "I wonder how they're getting on, since I haven't checked on them since what? Those humans finding out?"
She made her way to a door. As she opened it she was greeted by a dusty room but a globe shining through the cloth it was covered with.
"I really should ask him to clean up this room," Tana grumbled as she made her way through the unhygenic room.
She threw the cloth to the side, and sliding a chair behind her, she plopped down on it. First, she snapped her fingers and the door slammed shut with a force that made the lock fall in place as well. She then caressed the globe, fluttering her fingers as she kept them at a 2cm distance away from the globe itself.
"Julia, Alex, Imogen, Eva," she closed her eyes. "Ava, Danny, Luke, Mati, Patrick, Amandeep, Fabian, Shaan, Jesse. By Satan and God, and their creation. Fammi vedere quello che voglio sapere su di loro."
She opened them and they glowed a red ruby colour as if she was about to fight, but her fangs were nowhere to be seen. Tana suddenly exhaled as if a demon was coming out of her soul and fainted. Although it seemed something bad had happened, her soul was actually travelling from each person's name she chanted, wearing their bodies like clothes.
Yes, Ava can travel with her soul but can't go inside other people's bodies, while Tana can, with years of experience. The spell she cast on them, as she gave some their powers back, as she once turned them human, that spell allowed her to travel into their bodies as she wished, wherever she wished. She always just needed the globe with her.
Italics is when she's in someone's body.
Luke.
Julia just left the room and awkward eye contact with Imogen.
"Sorry, what?" I purposely pretened to be confused.
I needed information.
Imogen furrowed her eyebrows, also confused.
"What do you mean, 'what'?" she asked.
I nodded my head in the direction of the door. I'm late this time, so I guess I have to get what happened from her.
"What just happened? My brain blanked out," I chuckled awkwardly.
She blew her fringe, sighed, and rolled her eyes.
"We just decided that we're not fighting about me getting a therapist, and we got papers to sign, legal documents from Alex, where she got them from I have no idea. That was less than 1 minute ago, even if your brain blanked out you should have remembered by now," she looked at me suspisciously.
