Luke's POV:

*Lets go back to the start of the whole story*

I woke up at 5am sweating from a nightmare.

The whole universe tore apart, I died with it.

The demon-guardian had managed to escape and get out. There was another person, a girl.

With red eyes. She sat on the top of the moon and watched the earth burn, laughing. Then as soon as the earth finished burning she made another earth, another generation of humans to go with it.

Drunk with power. That's what she was.

She had pretended that she would help me. She grabbed my hands and then smirked, pushing me to burning earth.

I got up and went to the kitchen, no, I didn't have a human Mum and Dad, I had my own house.

"How is it? Having nightmares about the Earth burning?" my friend said.

I looked at him.

"It's terrifying. But this time it was different. There was this girl, that promised she would save me, but then pushed me into the fire. She sat on the moon and watched it dissolve. Straight after that, she created a new Earth, with a new generation of humans. She was drunk with power. And it's terrifying," I managed to finish.

"Luke, I have a feeling that we'll meet her, soon," Mati said and walked away.

I have the same feeling.

Is he right?

*LE TIME SKIP TO 7:00AM*

I didn't go back to sleep. I watched some TV, the news on Brexit, thinking how stupid these humans were.

Politics?

Brexit?

Theresa May?

What even is the point?

I got ready for the new school that I was attending, slipping myself into the school unfiform and adjusting my hair.

That's what human boys do when they get ready, right?

I went to the kitchen and decided to try some human food, cereal or bread?

Hm, cereal will do.

'Hey.'

I jumped from the sudden voice in my head. I realized that it was Mati.

'Bro, can you not. I already said that I don't prefer to talk telepathically, we're sent to learn about humans, remember?' I annoyingly relpied.

There was no response. After finishing my breakfast, I checked the time, it was 7:10am and I still had 20 minutes till I had to go. TV was boring, so there was nothing to do.

"I swear, how do humans cope with such free time, they have nothing to do, huge gaps in time, and still they manage. What do they do? Walk around around and talk to themselves?" I just realized what I said and cringed, "that's just sad."

I was a guardian, if you haven't realized, I was sent to the Universe with a mission. Well, I shouldn't say 'I' I really should be saying 'we'. Well let me name the rest fo the guardians that are with me for the mission:

-Mati

-Fabian

-Shaan

-Amandeep

-Patrick

-Jesse

It's a simple mission, since we haven't been very good at keeping a reputation in heaven, God was going to send us to hell, but we begged and he gave us another chance, if we done this mission correctly, he would let us stay. The mission is to see how the human race has evolved since the 1800s. The time limit that God gave us was 50 years, in human's point of view that's a long time, for us, that's basically the same as 5 minutes.
