Tana's POV:
They're all stupid.
"So, have you remembered?" I asked the boy.
"No, but I'm starting to understand," he replied.
"Well talking isn't interesting, let's get straight to the fighting, shall we?" I grinned.
Before he could reply I threw him against a bunch of houses and scanned him.
"Hm, Imogen, you may have turned the kid into a demon, but he only knows how to heal, fly and throw fire balls, tsk, tsk," I shook my head in disappointment.
"Let's see about that," Imogen said.
I looked to Ava.
"Have you recovered yet?" I asked.
She was angry, which was funny.
"Yes actually. Stop looking at me so fakely with pity, it's digusting," she hissed through gritted teeth.
"Okay," I answered simply.
I threw a bite spell at her with a flick of my finger but she dodged it and came at me. I dodged her by flying higher into the sky.
"Holy shit, it's been about 200 years since I've gone this high," I whispered to myself, excited.
The demon came out of nowhere and threw a fire ball at my arm, it stung.
"You idiot!" I snarled, throwing 10 bite spells at him all at once.
He was too late to dodge and it hit him. He fell to the ground and cracked his head open. Oops. This was boring. This human boy was now a demon and barely knew how to use his powers, I prefer the old guardian.
"Miss me?" I heard a whisper in my ears and I was suddenly thrown against the ground.
I quickly healed my wounds and flew up back to Ava.
"No, I didn't," I replied, grabbing one of her wings and emptying some demon magic.
The half halo around her head started glitching and another horn started to form, when once again, I was knocked to the ground by fucking Tarzan.
Imogen's POV:
As soon as I saw that Tana was knocked to the ground I ran back to the very same tree and started climbing it as fast as I could. I got to the top when I saw Tana had just healed her wounds and was flying back up to Ava; in seeing this, I scrambled to the end of the branch and stood up, balancing myself. When Tana's hand touched Ava's guardian wing and started to empty demon magic into it and bent my knees and jumped, wrapping my arms around her torso and bringing her to the ground.
"Oof," I heard Eva comment.
I can't operate this magic because it could destroy me, but Ava turning into a demon could not just lose us this duel, but kill everything, maybe even Heaven. I shot my guardian magic at her to overtake the demon magic and it slowly started working. Her white wing was turning back, and she breathed out the demon magic. Right now, I was human, so all I could do was use what I had. Tarzan. I jumped onto Tana as she flew up angrily and using Tana as a surface that I could bounce off of, I leaped for my demon magic and caught it before falling to the ground.
"Imogen!" I heard Julia shout.
Everything for me was going in slow motion. I was about 2 metres of the ground when I used my magic to shoot me back up. I hovered by the side of Ava and smirked at Tana.
"I'm back."
Luke's POV (the actual guardian):
It was dark. Pitch black. I had no body, no form, I couldn't move. I wasn't breathing. I was nothing.
