Eden's P.O.V

"Eden I told you not to. You've killed us all." Says Josh who's bleeding out on the ground in front of me.

Brendon and Pete were there too. Completely lifeless. "I didn't mean to! I was just trying to get us out of here!" I cried as I looked at my hands that were now covered in blood.

"Josh please! Tell me what to do. Josh wake up!" I cried as I shook my unresponsive best friend. "Please don't leave me!"

I gasped and quickly shot up. My heart was racing 1000 miles a minute. I looked to my side to see Tyler who began to open his eyes.

I was breathing heavily, desperately trying to catch my breath. "What's wrong?" I heard him ask as he sat up, mimicking me.

I was so shaken up that I couldn't even form a sentence. "Are you okay? Did you have a nightmare?" He asked, genuinely concerned. I quickly shook my head 'yes.'

The sun hadn't even risen yet but I had one thing I needed to do before we started our day.

"I have to go do something real quick but I'll be right back." I quickly said as I jumped out of the bed.

I slipped my shoes on and sprinted out the door before Tyler could even answer.

I ran back to Josh and I's place and opened the door. He was laying in bed awake and quickly sat up when he heard the door swing open.

"Eden.. where have you been!?" Josh questioned with worry in his voice.

I didn't answer but instead ran over to him and wrapped my arms around him, making him fall back onto the bed with me on top of him.

My face was buried in his neck and I began to sob hysterically. "Hey.. hey, what's wrong?" He softly asked as he wrapped his arms around me, rubbing my back.

"I can't. I can't.." I tried to speak through my cries. Josh sat us both up and began wiping away my tears with his thumbs.

"You can't what? Tell me what's wrong." He pleaded as I sharply inhaled.

"You're right let's just give up. I'd rather live here for the rest of my life than without you." I cried thinking back to the very realistic dream I just had.

Josh quickly blinked away the tears that had started brimming in his own eyes.

"No! I wasn't right. You were. I was just freaked out and I said some seriously dumb stuff. I'm so sorry." Josh apologized as he cupped my face in his hands.

I loved Josh. With my whole heart, but maybe in a different way than I had thought. Maybe all it took was a nightmare to realize it.

We were just inches apart, looking directly into each others eyes.

I moved so I was now sitting in his lap with my arms wrapped around his neck.

My breath hitched when I felt his hands gently grab my waist pulling me in closer.

In less than a second he closed the space between us, connecting our lips together for the first time.
