The four of us stood along the walls of building Z, trying to go unnoticed.
The last time, the only way we were able to get into these buildings was by using someone else's card.. which none of us had.
Sometimes using violence is okay, think about it. If we knock out a few guards.. it's all good, because we're ultimately saving them.
"I set this place on fire the last time, I'm surprised it's still standing." Jenna snickered.
"Looks like they put out the fire before it could do much damage." Dallon observed.
Tyler slowly poked his head from around the corner to get a look.
He straightened up and walked up to the door.
"Tyler! What are you doing?" Jenna quietly scolded.
"There's no guards." Tyler shrugged.
I shared a look of suspicion with Jenna and Dallon as we too walked up to the door.
"What? Why isn't there anyone guarding the door? And why is it just left open?" I skeptically questioned.
"I get that it's late at night, but for it not to be guarded at all is sketchy." Tyler admitted.
"This doesn't feel right." Jenna said as she furrowed her eyebrows.
"No it doesn't. It's like a complete invitation to God knows what." Dallon said what we were all thinking.
"Looks like there's only one way in and out of the building and that's through this door." Jenna informed.
"Alright, guess we have no choice." Tyler sighed.
We all walked in very hesitantly, looking around at all our surroundings.
"What's even in this building?" I asked quietly.
"I don't know, I never really got the chance to look around much the last time." Jenna shrugged.
"Maybe there's nothing here that's important, if there were it would have been guarded." Dallon pointed out.
"That's probably what they want you to think." I said as we all continued walking further down the hall.
"We should check every room, see what we can find." Tyler suggested.
"Alright but we shouldn't split up, it's too risky." Dallon protested.
"He's right. Let's just do this together." Jenna agreed.
We all walked into the first room we came across. Everyone searching every corner of it.
"Look at this!" Tyler exclaimed.
"What is it?" Dallon asked as he walked over to where Tyler was.
"A map of the building.." I observed intently at the map that hung on the wall.
"A control room, what's in there? What are they controlling?" Jenna questioned.
"Well other than the people.. I'm not sure." I shrugged.
"Maybe that's exactly what's in there.." Jenna thought.
"All this time we've been cutting the chips out to stop them from working but what if there's a switch or something that you can turn off to do it instead?" Tyler hypothesized.
"If that's true.. we can turn off everyone's chip!" I exclaimed.
Suddenly, the scream of a woman and man erupted from down the hall.
