Chapter 1

The new school year had begun. It was already a little bit in. I had missed a little bit because of my fathers abuse hospitalizing me. I walked towards the school. I hated some teachers and hated every student. But one teacher I hated the most. Komoshida. If I went into the Metaverse now I'd probly see utter chaos. I had been missing for two years from there. But I knew very well that Komoshida had a palace. When I walk around the school get distorted. That's how I knew. I walked to my class. The poor volleyball team. I hated it. Hated what he did. I sat in my seat. The blonde headed model rumored to be Komoshidas girlfriend sat next to me. I looked away. I wanted to ask her if it was true. Ask her if he was hurting her like he hurt everybody else. Part of me wanted to make him pay for his crimes. But I didn't know how I could do that. How I could make his crimes known and him get convicted. I could change his desires but I forgot how to do anything. I had lost my powers in the other world.

"Oh look its Catehrine Raggon" a girl said. "She still goes here? I heard her brothers in a coma" another one said. I clenched my hands into fist and put on a fake smile. If anyone found out the truth my father would kill Zetsu. I smiled brightly as I looked around. "Hello" I said to the blonde girl next to me. "I am Catherine. What's your name?" I asked. "Ann Takamaki" she replied smiling. "Well Ann nice to meet you" I said. "You too" she said. The people had stopped talking and I internally sighed in relief.

Class has ended and I walked down the halls. It all got distorted again. I pause and looked around. "Its getting worse" I whispered. It turned normal and I shook my head. I walked towards a spot to have lunch and sighed. I sat down and a group of girls walked over. One took my box as the main one laughed. "Let's take her food. She deserves to starve" she said laughing. "Should we leave more bruises on her?" Another asked. "Yeah we had to go the entire summer without our punching bag. Lets beat her up" the main one said as the other two grabbed my arms. A kick going to my stomach. I took the pain and gave no reaction. I was used to the imense pain. My father always did worst than the girls. After they finished punching and kicking me the bell rung. I walked to class with my hair over my face. I sat in my seat and shook badly. Ms. Kawakami sighed and a new transfer stood by her. "Class this is Akira Kurusu" she introduced. She gave him a seat and he sat next to me. I immediately handed him my text book despite hearing rumors of him being a delinqent. He looked at me and I looked back. I gave a kind smile and then covered my face with my hair again. After school ended I walked towards the roof and stopped when I heard the new transfer and Ryuji Sakamoto talking. I froze. I had gone up to the roof to try and escape for a bit. "It was a freaken castle!" Ryuji said. Shock taking over. "They went into the metaverse?" I asked quietly.

I ran down the steps and ran outside. I put my hand on the school gate a froze again. The school turned into a faint castle and I stood there with no one else around. "A gateway?" I questioned. I was still in my uniform and I sighed. "How do I get out of here?" I questioned. I shrugged and walked to the castle door. It was open and suspicious. "Hmm. No I can't go In. I dotn remember how to do anything" I said backing away. I walked to the gate again. I put my hand on it and sighed. My phone buzzing. I took it out my pocket and saw a weird red eyeball thing. I hit it and the world went normal. "A metanav?" I asked myself quietly. I turned and saw the transfer and Ryuji walking out the school gate. I walked to them. "Hey Akira. Do you have my book?" I asked. He looked at me and nodded. Ryuji looked shocked. "Your Catherine Raggon?" He asked. "So what if I am. I need to go so can ya give me the book tomorrow?" I asked. "Yeah" Akira replied. "Good see ya" I said walking past. I got to the hospital and walked to my brothers room.

I sat in the chair next to his bed and grabbed his hand crying. "Big brother please wake up" I cried. "Please. They want me to pull the plug. Two years I've been fighting them and father over keeping you alive. Please! Please wake up for me! Without you I cant take it! I feel so hopeless!" I cried. I laid my head on hair chest. "Zetsu... Do you remember what mother said? She said we only have each other. So please... Oh god please don't leave me alone with that awful man" I pleaded gripping his hand. I stood up and leaned over and kissed his head. "I'm gonna keep fighting for us. I'm gonna keep pushing forward for you" I said. I grabbed my bag and walked out. "I love you brother" I said as I looked back one last time at the door. I closed the door and left the hospital. Getting on a train heading home. I walked into the company building and the front desk lady gulped. "Ms. Raggon. Y-Your father wants you" she said. Bruises on her neck. I clenched my fist knowing exactly what my father did to her. Yet she was helpless and couldnt do anything. No one would believe her. I walked to the elevator.
