"No homework for next class, because we are preparing for the big assignment coming up, you ready?" Miss Evans said smiling. She was the youngest teacher in the school, full of happiness and lots of homework.

But Taehyung or Tae as he wanted to be called, liked her. She was just as much into literature as he was.

Everybody stood up the second the bell rang, bloodthirsty for weekend. Ms. Evans grinned at all the others practically running out of the classroom to get non literature air.
Tae was also ready to get out but before he could, Miss Evans called him "Taehyung".
He turned around and walked to her desk "mhh?"
"Have you found a topic to write about yet?" She asked while she collected her books.
"No Miss , but I will soon" he gave her a small wink then he turned around and walked out of the classroom.

Normally he was super quick to find a topic and get perfect grades for his assignments but this time he wanted a chill weekend, heck he wanted a chill month so he'll think about it later.

The hallway was packed with people. Everybody with one simple goal.
The door.

Someone kicked lightly to Taehyngs feet so that he almost tripped. He didnt even have to turn around to know who it was "Jimin , you little piece of shit".

Jimin came up beside Tae. "I would consider myself at least a caring piece of shit, for not letting you fall"

Taehyung rolled his eyes at the comment.

They walked further down the hallway. Without noticing, their friend Ellie joined them. "I'm really considering to drop out of school and become a stripper" she said.

"You wouldn't make enough money with that look" Jimin said beside Tae.

"At least I'll get the attention that you never got" she answered back totally unbothered.

Taehyung was about to say something when a piercing voice called his name.

He turned around and looked at the voices owner.
Ellie groaned but Taehyung quickly hit his albow in her side to make her shut up.

"So Tae, you're coming to my party, right?"Annabelle asked, behind her was the usual two girls. Taehyung had never heard them say a word, they just stared longing at him all the time.
Taehyung squinted his eyes, he didn't remember saying that he'll come in the first place.
Annabelle noticed the question mark on Taehyungs face "everybody expects you to be there" she tried again.

"Let them do that" Ellie groaned and started to walk. Jimin shrugged and followed her.

Still standing in front of Annabelle and the two awkward girls behind her the only thing that came to Taehyungs mind was "um i'll come by".

With immediately regretting that answer Taehyung smiled and said bye to the girls and caught up with the others in the parking lot.

"Man, how can people stand her freaking voice" Ellie groaned again.
"Just 2 sentences made my ears bleed" Jimin added sounding a bit frustrated, which made Ellie burst out of laughter.

Ever since Taehyung met Jimin he'd always loved his honest comments. Their parents were high school friends so the boys had known each other since always. Since their creative parents thought it would be a great idea for the boys to learn English in a young age, hand in hand the two Korean boys went through international elementary school, middle and now as junior in the international High School of Seoul.

"Kim Taehyuuuuuung, come back to eaaaarth" Ellie shook Taehyungs shoulders. Offended he pushed her hands away. "Hey, I'm allowed to do that, it's Friday"

"And we should celebrate that with Panda E" Jimin yelled already running across the parking lot.

——

"See you shithead" Ellie yelled a little to loud between the closing train doors.

Taehyung squinted his eyes to avoid getting eye contact with the old lady who probably understood English.

But still he couldn't help but smile at the common comment from Ellie.

That's one of the reasons why Taehyung liked her. She was always ready with a comment no matter what the topic was.
He will never forget the first day he met her.
Ellie moved to Seoul with her dad, because his company moved from London to Korea.
As the confident 5th grader she was, she stood in front of the whole class presenting herself, without the teachers permission.
Little 5th grader Jimin had a bad day, so when she finished he yelled "your accent is stupid"
Ellies answer made Taehyung love her and swear that he always would.

"Not as much as your face"

Their 5th grade teacher took them to "mini detention" - Jimin for yelling in class, Ellie for saying inappropriate things, and Taehyung for being to loud because he fell down from his chair in laughter.
From that day all of them became inseparable best friends.
